    Our beautiful Keauhou Palena condo (Unit #604), is now available as a Vacation Rental! The complex is right on the Kona Country Club and only a short walk to Keauhou Bay (1/4 mile).

    This property has tile flooring throughout, large open living area, large lanai, a master bedroom, with air-conditioning available and an on-suite bath. There is a sofa sleeper (new, deep queen mattress) in the den area, connected to the main living area, which has a retractable door that may be closed for privacy (almost like a 2nd bedroom!). Additional guest bath also provided.

    One assigned parking space near building and complex pool!

    The Kailua-Kona Historical Village is a short drive away (4 miles north on Alii Drive) . The Village is very quaint, with lots of charm and good shopping right along the water's edge. Some of the activities you can find in the Village and nearby are: beaches, luau's, farmer's markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing…Just about every water sport you can think of! There is so much to do to stay active, or you can do nothing and just lounge on the beach or by the pool!....

    We had a very pleasant experience. We have stayed closer to downtown Kona several times and enjoyed it but were looking for something a little more private and quiet. The condo complex is very quiet (except for the birds) and it was entertaining to watch the golfers. The grounds staff was attentive and friendly and the pool was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need in the way of tableware, utensils, pots and pans and cooking appliances. There was body wash and some small soaps for the bathrooms as well as starting supplies of tp, garbage bags, laundry detergent and dishwashing soap. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms and the sofa sleeper. I never expect condos to have food items or cooking oils/spices so being able to walk to the shopping center was a real advantage. There is a farmers market there every Saturday morning, several well-stocked stores, great restaurants, and a post office. It is also a very easy walk to the golf course clubhouse cafe and the Outrigger Hotel so the location was convenient for us.

    I appreciated all the bakeware in the kitchen as I made several Christmas Cookies! Very comfortable condo! Mahalo!

    Well equipped clean condo in quiet superior location. Just be cautious of bad golfers and put sun shades down when golf course is busy.

    Our arrival was greeted by a very stinky garbage disposal. Problem was solved with purchase of two lemons. I feel that each reservation should be treated individually, we were there for two weeks with 3 rolls of toilet paper, one small bar of soap, three dishwasher pods and three trash bags. Even though you recommended that the trash be taken out at least once a a day. This did not make our stay any less enjoyable. Just some recommendations.
