We came for a short stay as our grandson had a baseball tournament in Waipahu. Everything was as described and we plan to make another trip in the future to just relax and not have to focus on baseball. Our condo was close to Turtle Bay Resort and we walked there every morning for coffee. Our only complaint, which has nothing to do with this lovely condo, was that the people upstairs kept dropping what sounded like heavy weights on the floor and jumping up and down. It sounded like they were doing exercises. At least it was in the morning and not at night. Otherwise the condo was very nice and just as described!

The Ohana ~ Family Home was the perfect space for our family to relax after hiking and exploring the North Shore of Oahu. We enjoyed the amenities, the close access to the pool, and the beautiful surrounding area for early morning walks along the beach. We would definitely make this place our home away from home on future North Shore Oahu stays!

We really enjoyed our stay the kids loved the beach and pool and we had everything we needed we alll slept well because it’s quiet and peaceful thank you -!
This condo Is located on an unused golf course so the views are calming with lush landscaping. The kids brought a soccer ball and enjoyed running on the grass and playing. The course also provides a nice walking trail for families.
The condo was comfortable with the queen bed and the fold out couch, plenty of space for the four of us. The area is very safe for families.
The drive to some of the best food trucks, sunset beach, and other North Shore gems is a short distance. We appreciated the chairs, cooler and umbrella for the beaches! The parking, pool and trash were all very close and that was great.
I would recommend a few things:
Purchase extra laundry detergent, toilet paper and be sure to bring all of your own soap/shampoo. We ran out of toilet paper thinking we would find more in the condo.
The login information for the wifi was simple but trying to get TV’s to work (login infor for channels like Hulu, Netflix, etc) and the TV in the bedroom never connected. We didn’t spend a ton of time on electronics but it was nice to have with kids.
Instructions for the washing machine is in the hallway table, you might need it. We had to drain it when we got here, which put us a day behind on laundry. We couldn’t get the door open. The property manager was responsive during business hours and offered to send over someone to look at it.
The front door lock doesn’t feel secure, and we didn’t know if the door was truly locked being inside. A deadbolt would be nice.
The screened in porch was very nice, we were unsure about opening the screen doors so we left them closed. The towel rack there was very helpful.
As a frequent traveler, there was no frying pan. There are pot, which made it tricky to make simple items such as eggs. Overall this place was very expensive and you are paying for location. But the place feels like a bare minimum for a VRBO. (Utensils, toilet paper)
We love the north shore! Such a great part of the island!

Loved everything about this property, other than the remodel going on upstairs! Everyday from 8-6 there was heavy construction upstairs (jackhammer, drilling, hammering). Wish we would have been told about this or gotten some money back at least... Our relaxing vacation was not so relaxing sadly.
