The location is awesome. You can walk to everything, shops, beaches, restaurants. There is a great bar/restaurant just outside the building, facing the beach side. You have a lovely view from the balcony of the waves crashing onto the shore line. We spent many breakfasts and lunches there, just enjoying the view and the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean. Since the property has two floors with one bedroom on each floor, there is as much as privacy as you want between the two sets of guests. The upper bathroom does not have a shower so they will have to come down to the hallway bathroom, which is fine, but just thought you should know. There is no detergent for either the dishwasher or washing machine left automatically for you so you need to ask for it if you want it. We did not know you could ask for it so we simply did our dishes by hand and did not use the washing machine. Overall, we were super-happy with the place and I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at the Penthouse! You can walk to so many great restaurants and see a luau at the Royal Kona just down the street. The Kona Inn is a hidden gem we found in the shopping center area. Beautiful view of the ocean from the main lanai.
