A craftsman-designed home in a beautiful old Hawai‘i valley is perfect for a retreat or friends traveling together. Five single beds and one queen in four bedrooms, two of which have ensuite baths. Lots of artistic details, open floor plan, gourmet kitchen and ample outdoor spaces to enjoy. There is a large, wrap-around balcony/lanai with sitting areas and dining area. It is surrounded by tropical trees, flowers and plants. Our location is in a beautiful valley, close to several popular attractions such as South Point, Green Sand Beach, Black Sand Beach and the hiking trails of Kahuku, a section of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Owner lives on the property and is available to share Hawaiian history and cultural wisdom on request....

Every minute that my family spent at the Dragonfly Lodge was amazing. This home Is located near the southern point of the Big Island. It is surrounded by the beautiful jungle which displays extraordinary foliage, the soothing sounds of frogs, birds and other creatures and a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. The local culture allowed us to immerse ourselves in the Hawaiian culture. We also enjoyed the visits with Tanya and Wiamea. Karen was a gracious hostess. This home is amazing, up to date and super clean. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 7 of us. I give this rental and experience an A+++.
