Our stay at the Ilikai was pleasant. The accommodation was nice and a good place to call home for our week in July. The hotel and property are older, although remodeled there are still older features like the sliding glass doors and elevators. We did see elevator maintenance workers at least three times. Escalators from valet area to main lobby were out of order all but one day of our stay. The property had everything we needed! Kitchen was well equipped, there was beach equipment - chairs, towels, boogie boards, ice chest and umbrellas. There were extra folding chairs, pillows and blankets. Having a washer/dryer in unit was also helpful. Lots of fans and great air conditioner! Property has been updated inside. Few items need further updating like the backside of the tattered black out drapes and the repair sheet rock replacement holes in the ceiling. Toto toilet controls were also not working during our stay. Love how close it was to the lagoon and the beach. Not a lot of restaurant options too close. There is a hotel restaurant and yummy ice cream and coffee shop on property. Ala Moana shopping mall is close enough to walk, it’s a bit of a trek though, not just across the street. We did walk down (20-25 minutes) to the bustling restaurant shopping area. You can walk on beach or through streets. There are two ABC stores close by. Valet parking was $45/day. They got the car quickly when needed with the exception of check out times of mornings, it was busy then and took about 10 minutes to get car. Price was comparable to other hotels in area. Overall this was a nice place to call home for the week with great views and a zen vibe. Enjoyed being just outside of the business of Waikiki. Would stay again.
Nice property, great location, good amenities on site. Only complaint is that the rental needs a new toaster. Every time it got hot it triggered the GFCI and turned off.

Great location, close to Ala Moana Mall, walking distance to Waikiki, surrounded by great restaurants and shops, beautiful balcony view. Close to bike and car rentals. This all helped to give an enjoyable and relaxing experience

This is a nice unit with easy access to the beach and amazing view of the fireworks. The only issue was there’s only one blanket for three beds. Plenty of sheets but no blankets. Also the couch could use replacing or at least a good cleaning. Unit also included all beach gear!!!! Towels, beach chairs, boogie board etc.
Pent house suite was amazing.
It was extremely comfortable and clean. Wonderful view of the ocean and fireworks.

Unit was exactly as described. Place was very clean with state of the art bathrooms. View from the Penthouse suite was awesome. Great central location, close to Ala Moana mall, a short distance away with over 350 shops and restaurants. 10 mins away from Central Waikiki beach. Highly recommended.

The penthouse is nice, but there's not enough outlet to charge our phones in both bedrooms. We have to charge our phones and electronics in the kitchen and living room.Although, we appreciate the immediate response from JB every time we report an issues during our stay.

We stayed 6 days in this condo and it was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to Waikiki but far enough removed. Lagoon and ocean so close. Condo itself was beautiful. The host was la pleasure to deal with. Already planning our next getaway.

This rental was exceptionally clean with an amazing view. The property is older but there are really nice updates and the property has a great pool area and is close to beaches. The condo was sparsely supplied with no extra bedding or towels. The kitchen had the bare minimum and things were labeled in Japanese.
The condo cleanliness was less than desired. There was dust hanging from the chandelier over the dining table and also from the vents. The floors were dirty from the moment we entered. Our socks and feet were dirty. We loved the view and being able to open up the patio doors at night when it cooled down to hear the wind and ocean. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working while we were there and they installed a temporary unit, which then didn't allow for us to open the patio doors at night.
There also said there was a blender on the post and there wasn't. We found out the Cinnamon's restaurant at the Ilikai hotel had an electrical fire previously, causing electrical issues to surface resulting in and no elevators for over 12 hours. Not ideal as we were on the 26th floor. The generator brought in to get the elevators back up, reduced the number of people allowed to 7, causing delays and back up for the rest of our trip. While the Ilikai says "luxury", there wasn't anything luxury about the hotel. We would definitely not stay here in the future.
My family and I spent a wonderful vacation in Gabi’s condo. Highly recommended.
When we arrive we had to vacuum floors. There was no dish washer pods, washing pods. The walls where dirty with construction working hands. The faucet in bathrooms were loose and no hot water in sink! I can go on but I won’t. Would never recommend this so called newly remodeled to anyone!
