    In general that apartment was ok, but the first surprise was the lack of Air Conditioning. I call for help and the manager mentioned I should read the contract since this is what I signed for.🙄 The carpets were dirty from long usage and not proper steam cleaning, lights’ and fans’ remote controls were not set up properly. If you want to have lights in the bed room, the family room was switch off and viceversa. The elevator produce a strong noise, as two tennis player were moaning after hitting the ball and was difficult to sleep. The location was to close to the HWY and people’s cars were sometimes very noise. I would not rent it again at that price, and conditions of the apartment.

    Our original property had plumbing issues and the property manager found us a location that was great and made it easy for us. It wasn’t ideal that we had to pack up and move but the fact that the property manager resolved it with a much better property was a huge plus. Thank you to the team that helped us out. My ratings are for the original property as Kahana Sunset where we moved was 5 stars across the board!

    Everything with this property was fantastic. The rental agency was great to work with and they were very accommodating. The only warning would be the bar below the unit can be very loud.

    Overall we had a great experience. As some other reviews noted it was a bit loud as it was on a well traveled street and the windows had to be left open for air movement. The condo was cleaned and had a nice view of the ocean. Thanks for a great stay!

    Overall, the place was horrible and very annoying. The waterline broke in the master bedroom and ran for almost 2 days straight. The loud running water was terrible! Then, the wacky lighting system was another failure! You would turn on a light in one room and the light from another room would turn off. The repair man came in to fix the running water in the bedroom and commented how cheaply and poorly everything that was done to upgrade this place was done cheaply and done incorrectly!

    The condo we stayed in wasn’t bad. There were a couple of issues that probably should have been taken care of prior to our arrival but we got through them. It was nice to have enough room for 5 people and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. It was like being at home during the vacation.

    We came to celebrate my kids birthdays and besides me and my now 3 year old getting stuck in the elevator for about 20 minutes it was fantastic!

    I love, love, love this condo. It was very clean, beautifully remodeled. Very roomy, it had everything we need. It’s only a short walk to the beach, and there is a convenient store, sushi, Boss frogs and delicious Dollies pub on the first floor. (The food at Dollies is to die for, so is Miso Phat sushi) around the corner is a small market, coffee shop and snorkel bobs, and Maui Brewing company. The Bus stop is right out front if you’re not renting a car. I will definitely be staying here again.

    Unit and surroundings true to its description. Place really nice and comfortable with its new remodel. Extra towels and beach gear was a cool touch. Everything is really close by. Food and supplies down below. Room was always cool with the fans and trade winds. Definitely return.
