A private drive with four homes and a beautifully landscaped back yard. Common area with pickleball/tennis court. You cannot beat this location. Down the drive, cross the street and there’s the beach. Room to spread out and relax. The home is a lovely, island style home. Main area high ceilings, multiple fans and big windows. I imagine the setting is normally very quiet but there was some construction on an adjacent property while we were there. Also note there is one air conditioner/mini split for the entire home. This worked out fine for us but is something to consider (many Maui rentals have no air con). I’d stay here again for sure! Delightful experience.
Be aware This house is right besides a major construction site that will be very active for the next few years, This was not Disclosed to us on Reservation. Prior to our arrival, a friend who recommended this place happened to be in the area and told us about the major construction site and activity. I checked with the owner who advised that a barrier wall and mesh would be installed by the 1st week Jan, at or around our arrival and would minimize the dust, and unsightly machinery, well we departed on Feb 4th, no barrier or wall, just noise and dust, also the house right beside this house will be smashed down and replaced planned to start in April, dust, construction and machinery noise, from 730am to 330pm make the Lanai unusable. When we arrived the place was dirty, there were limited towels both bath and beech, (Note this was fixed the next day by the owner), Fans in one of the bedrooms didnt work nor did the (Fan pull switch) on the Lanai, This also was fixed a couple of days after arrival, one of the toilets was constantly running, this was also fixed, The toaster was broken with no bottom, there was no kettle, the tea pot had no handle, most knives were completely dull. The beech equipment "Chairs" were old and tatteredThe location of this place (if there was no construction going on) is great with easy access to the beech.I would not recommend this place to anyone, it needs a very deep clean top to bottom, the construction activity does not provide a restful retreat.
The house worked out well for our family visit. The toddlers could run on the lawn and the beach is only steps away.
Very lovely 3 bedroom home in Kihei right across the street from the access to the amazing Keawakapu Beach. The house has a very nice indoor outdoor living vibe with the large great room opening onto a beautiful lanai that sits at the top of the property and overlooks the large fruit tree laden lawn and tennis court below.
Every day I woke up at sunrise and walked to take a dip in the ocean and then went to Akemi coffee in Wailea for coffee and a cinnamon bun.
I definitely recommend this spot!

We had the best experience at this wonderful property. The proximity to the beach is unmatched and was so easy to zip down to catch the sunset or set up early in the day. The backyard is a tropical oasis and was wonderful for quiet reflection and reading a book on a warm afternoon. There was more than enough space, and it had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for the best and most relaxing vacation ever!
Excellent host, fast response to our question. Place has fantastic location and easy access to a beautiful beach. Comfortable feeling and a great lanai facing the sunset. Ready to go back.
Nice place, convenient & functional.
Loved staying here. Beach is a short 3-5 minute walk from the door after crossing the street. Tennis court is in good condition and has early morning shade. Everything in the house worked well. TV is small with cable, but we hardly used it.
We stayed 10 days with our adult children. House was perfect. Three bedrooms with king size, comfy beds! Air conditioner worked great. Kitchen well stocked for cooking! Prepared Christmas dinner with family. Pickleball court was fantastic. Location, location, location. You cannot ask for better location of a house on Maui. We hope to be back soon!!
