When you arrive, just park in the driveway between the yellow lines... the car on the far right will be partly on the gravel. The front door is never locked and there will be a welcome note for you taped to the inside door post. Please take it to your room which will be open, keys on the bed..
Lanai Villas is nestled in an area of private homes and is part of the Poipu Kai Resort complex. You will have a key to the pool and Jacuzzi area. And for an hourly price there are 9 tennis courts.
We are just a few minutes walk from the GRAND HYATT HOTEL and many wedding party guests stay with us when the wedding is on the Hyatt property.
All three of our suites are on the ground floor. All have private entrances and locks. We are in an extremely safe area.
Poipu is the South and sunny side of Kauai. WE have three golf courses within one mile and all the beaches are public. The new shops at Kukuiula features many of the brand name stores like Tommy Bahama. with upscale shopping, galleries, and many restaurants and cafes, along with a market and drugstore. The shopping area borders the 18-hole Kiahuna Golf Course and the 4-court Kiahuna Tennis Club. The 5-Star Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa, offering golf, yoga, massage and workout opportunities.
We provide our guests body boards and some snorkel gear free along with lots of beach towels. If you are into adventure, there are scuba shops and outfitters Hawaii near by plus zip lines and atv tours all within a couple miles.
You can park your car in the driveway. We just need to get three cars in so those on the right hand end will have one tire on the gravel.. The front door is never locked so you can arrive anytime after 3:00 p.m. check out is 10:00 a.m.

The host was a nice person, there were plenty of beach supplies on the porch you can use. The bedroom was small but clean bed was good. The hot plate in the cooking area was marginal. You have to buy your own coffee.
The price for the area was reasonable.

Cameron was available for questions and very welcoming. The unit was cozy but met our needs. It was a great location in Poipu. We appreciated the beach supplies to borrow (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and cooler)

I had stayed here solo, just for one night before heading to the other side of the island. It was everything I needed for my short stay. The location was great. The space was clean. I didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to have enough to work with for a party of 2- if needed. The full size refrigerator was a plus. The bed was comfy enough. The futon will need the extra padding provided. I didn’t check out the pool because I came for the beaches.
I read some reviews that said it was out dated. I found the space to be endearing and safe. If you want luxurious, there are many expensive alternatives to go for. Everything listed is accurate.
Cam the host was quick to respond and gave very good instructions upon arrival. I would stay here again. Mahalo!

We loved our stay here and this place is a diamond when compared to the mostly expensive accomodations in the area of Poipu close to the beaches. Cam was a great and friendly host - always quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed seeing his photos on the walls of his history in mountaineering and seems he has lived a life of adventure, retiring on Kauai. The checkin instructions were clear. About the unit: 2 rentals on the main floor of a detached house, host lives upstairs (don’t let that be a deterrant, he is as relaxed and chill as it gets) BEST VALUE YOU WILL FIND IN POIPU! All the photos are accurate, but what I wasn’t expecting was this affordable unit to be located in such a gorgeous area. Close to the beaches, hiking trails, the hyatt, surrounded by beautiful homes and simply the most scenic neighbourhood I have ever seen. Extremely quiet and safe area and we loved walking to Brennecke’s and Poipu beach. The pool and hot tub were great. Cooler/umbrella/body boards/snorkelling equipment/noodles and more provided. There are no other accomodations at this price point in Poipu. The unit is simple, but extremely well equipped. Washer dryer in building with detergent provided was most welcomed. Cool breeze through the windows- AC not required! If you want luxury, spend 800$ a night and go to the hyatt. If you appreciate simple but well equipped accomodation at a great price point in the best of areas with a lovely host, there is nothing better than Cam’s place.

Very quite property with a nice lanai. Conveniently located close to the beach.
The property was well equipped with the necessary appliances (large and new refrigerator) and kitchen tools.
Very friendly landlord (thanks fo the welcoming macadamia candies).

It was the perfect location for attending a wedding at Shipwreck beach. It was great to have all the beach gear for use on the porch: chairs, snorkle gear, boogie boards. The place was very clean and accessible. I had all I needed and Cam was very nice. Thank you!

We flew in and checked in really late. Instructions for our room is very clear. Had everything for us and this home is very clean. Loved the peacefulness of waking up without loud notices. Will rent this place again..
