ELEVATOR REPLACEMENT:
From April 22, 2024, all elevators at Waikiki Banyan will undergo complete replacement. Each tower will have 1 elevator replaced at a time. During this period, there will be 3 elevators in operation instead of 4, leading to potentially longer wait times. The project is anticipated to be completed by June 2025.
DECK RENOVATION NOTICE:
The building's recreation deck, including the pool and BBQ, will be closed for renovation starting April 7th, with work expected to continue for approximately one year. Rates have already been discounted accordingly to reflect the temporary loss of these amenities. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the building undergoes these improvements.***
THE BUILDING:
• There is a coffee shop on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a convenience store on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a coin machine on the ground floor next to the security office in Tower 2
HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check-in: any time after 3:00 PM
Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM
Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.
The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.
LINENS & TOWELS:
You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.
LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There are laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit. There is a coin change machine next to the lobby in Tower 2. Laundry room hours are from 8 am-10 pm daily.
TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor, next to the emergency exit.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses. I would rate this unit as a “must stay”. I have stayed at over a dozen various units in both towers on this property over the last few years, this unit by far is the best.
The unit is super clean and looks professionally decorated, the upgrades are fantastic. Heavy pane sliding glass door helps reduce morning Waikiki service truck noise. Two quiet wall mounted AC units, other units have one loud window style AC unit. Two TVs, other units only provide one TV. Brick paver lanai, other units just have cement. There’s even a decorative waterfall on the lanai. Power controlled blackout shades in the bedroom, which really helps with your first few mornings of Jetlag. There are a ton of other small noticeable upgrades compared other units.
The layout of this unit makes it feel more like a home than a rental unit. And the view is beautiful, through the sliding glass door you have a view of famous Waikiki Beach and through the bedroom and kitchen windows you get a view of the famous Diamond Head mountain.
I would strongly recommend staying in this unit.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this beautifully renovated condo on the 24th floor! We loved the views while enjoying breakfast out on the terrace. The unit is at the end of the hall with the laundry room next door so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Centrally located to great shops and restaurants too! Mahalo fit the hospitality!

This property was amazing! Although I am not a fan of staying in Waikiki, I chose the property because of it's central location to everything. My daughter has never been to Oahu, so I wanted her to experience Waikiki.
The property was spotless and gorgeous. The starter supplies was just enough to get us through 7 days. The view was breathtaking from the condo. The property management company was responsive and communicative. Parking was a definite plus (no parking fee). The property was centrally located so we were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants.
The pool and hot tubs were a definite winner. After long days at the beach or outing, we were able to come back to the hotel and unwind at the pool.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend it to others! Thank you for the great stay! Mahalo and Aloha!

We appreciated little things like the great lighting in the bathroom for make up, the small side mirror to see up close. The desk and drawers for extra space. The vanity mirrors that open to allow storing of bathroom items. The home was excellently decorated and felt very comfortable. There wasnt anything we needed. Easy check in and check out. We left 2 boogie boards and a skimboard for the use of future guests. We also left a new cart so future guests can get groceries or other items to the condo with ease from the parking garage. We couldnt ship these items home so we hope others enjoy them!

I cannot overstate how ideal this condo is. Beautifully decorated and very clean and modern. Amazing lanai and views. Love this end of Waikiki and parking is a huge plus. Will definitely be back!

We were nervous on the way up to the condo because some of the elevator had blanket like things covering the walls but I think it was because they were waxing the floors. They had everything available that we needed and more. It was a beautiful view through both windows!
However, we did accidentally leave the parking pass in a rental and it was $250 to replace. It is clearly stated in multiple places, just seems expensive🥴
Short walk to the beach, bike station right out front, two beach chairs and cooler!
Definitely recommend. We were there for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

The room is nice and the view is outstanding. But the rest of the place needs improvements. Waikiki Banyan is an old building and only two elevators work for a big building. Lots of wait on elevators, passageway carpeting needs changes. Worst of all is at the end of lease. Cleaners wait outside at exactly minutes before 10am so you need to leave. I have not experienced this before; hotels and others have late checkout available without any hassle. I am sure we will not come back again. We paid more to enjoy our stay but I don't think we got that.

We stayed in this stunning condo for 16 nights and cannot praise it enough. I have been coming to Hawaii since 1987 & having stayed at the ALOHILANI and various other establishments- this condo is by far and wide the BEST.
Both bed and sofa couch are beautifully comfortable. The shower is gorgeous, practical and refreshing. The washing machine is a godsend (although we did not receive washing powder as promised, but didn’t complain, we simply went out and purchased it). All other provisions provided and are excellent quality. The refrigerator is brilliant with features of filtered water and ice making.
The beach chairs and lunch cooler, wonderfully handy, used these daily.
The pool is constantly crowded and a bit small for the two towers which have in excess of 700 apartments in each tower…
Condo is set back from the beach by 1 block, therefore it is quiet and restful. This is very welcome whilst trying to relax.
The view is spectacular, slightly disrupted by the Marriott but still delightful so sitting on the Lanai is a pleasure to have breakfast or afternoon tea on.
A Hilton is across the road and includes a Starbucks and cafe (Mac 24-7). Great pancakes and food to go, but the staff are not helpful.
The host was wonderful in communication and I will stay here again and again as I visit annually.
