This upgraded second floor condo at Kona Shores has everything you need to enjoy your time on the Big Island of Hawaii! This is a corner unit which provides an extra window with a peekaboo ocean view! This Studio condo features a full kitchen and full bathroom with upgraded bathroom vanity and new appliances. There is an extra spacious Eastern California King sized bed along with a Queen sized sleeper sofa to accommodate up to 4 guests.There is plenty of seating in the living area, a flat screen TV with cable, complimentary Wi-Fi, plus a screened in lanai with outdoor seating. There is a new Air Conditioning unit to help cool off from the tropical sunshine after your Hawaii excursions. The floor plan is as follows: you enter through the living room with the bathroom to the right, from the living room you enter the bedroom/kitchen which shares the same space, the lanai is off of the kitchen/bedroom. There is just a door way with no door between kitchen/bedroom and living room.
The Kona Shores condominium complex has an ocean-front pool with a cabana, two bathrooms and a charcoal grill for barbecuing. It is the perfect location to hang out and soak up the Hawaii sun and watch the gorgeous Kona sunsets. You can possibly spot the famous 'Green Flash” at sunset as the sun sets behind the horizon. The Kona Shores is a popular location for visitors due to its close proximity to beaches and to the heart of Kailua-Kona with restaurants and shopping right along the water’s edge. Some of the activities you can find on the Kona Coast include beaches, luau’s, farmer’s markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing; just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. With so much to do this condo makes a perfect home base to relax after all of your vacation adventures or you can just have a relaxing day lounging by the pool.
There are rent-able bikes available across the street from Kona Shores. There is an assigned parking space and laundry facilities that are compatible with the PayRange laundry facility app.

The place was very clean, great location, and the management staff that took care of us was fantastic. The Internet was down and they took care of it right away.
The location is near the water has a pool, laundry facilities. It was central to everything. I will definitely stay there again on my return to Kona.

Ac wall unit in the kitchen/bedroom. No AC in den where TV is. Bugs were a problem in the beginning. No bar soap for bathing. Sheets were horrible but they did bring by a new cheap set which was better than the worn cheap sheets. Really not what we were expecting. We did rent another room for one night near the volcano just to have a break. That place was amazing!

Although we only used this for the pool since my family lives on the island, we were impressed with the cleanliness and all the thought out into someone new to the island. They provided Al you would need to go to the beach and the visiiwhi not need to buy anything. Would definitely stay again

This place was a dream! Super clean. Air conditioning for when it gets too warm… with a stunning saltwater pool on the ocean’s edge! A short walk into town too. I will definitely be back 221!

Quaint, quiet, modest efficiency place. Close to what we needed: 1 step, 2 step beach, shopping, and friends who live on island. Place had everything we needed. All communications with management were answered quickly.

We have stayed in Kona Shores before in another unit and, while the floor plan is the same, the room configuration is different. Instead of entering into the bedroom where the seating area is in the kitchen section, the furniture is reversed. It was not unpleasant to sleep in the kitchen area, since this is where the air conditioning is, so it is cooler and very comfortable to sleep. The mattress is good, too.
There are four ceiling fans, those none on the screened in patio, which was just too warm to sit for any length of time. The kitchen had enough pots, pans and decent knives for our cooks needs, and I cooked every day. The bathroom shower was powerful and welcoming after a day at the beach.
The condo had beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel equipment but we didn’t use them. The laundry is nearby and very clean. I never had to wait for a machine.
The pool area was clean and at times, we were the only ones using the pool and lounge chairs. And what a view!
We will be staying here again. Thank you to Knutson & Assoc. Property management and to Brad, on site manager, who is always working.
