Everything was exactly as described and the unit was nicer than what the pictures illustrated. That was a pleasant surprise. Bonnie was responsive and her condo was thoughtfully stocked for guests. The closet had beach supplies like a cart to carry gear, towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers, and sand toys. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and even had storage containers. The unit was very clean and well maintained. We actually enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to extend but unfortunately the unit was unavailable. Our kids had a blast. We would definitely go back!

We had a great vacation here. The property was exactly as advertised. Everything was very clean. The host was very easy to communicate with. The pool near the beach was really nice. Overall, I would stay here again. 5 stars for sure!
This property is clean and equipped with everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay in Wailea, Maui. The decor is classy and minimal. Pool and beach both within walking distance and the condo itself is located in a quiet environment. Owners are quick to respond and friendly!

We have stayed in six different units in Ekahi over the years and are taken with the beautiful surroundings, great beach and walking distance to stores and restaurants.
We cannot say enough about are recent stay in 40a. Clean, comfortable, and the beds (what a great nights sleep) fabulous.
It's a bit of a hike to the beach (especially coming back) but since a quite pool is right around the corner it didn't matter.
All in all a great unit, and a lovely place for a holiday

We have stayed in several vacation condos around the country and, by far, this was the best experience we have had. The location and quality of this condo made our first trip to Maui extremely memorable. Resort location: Very close to shopping, dining, and nightlife. Condo location: No ocean view, but that really didn't hurt us. Beautiful gardens everywhere. Less than 10 minute walk to the pool, pavilion, and beach. It's clear the managers take great pride in the grounds. Condo quality: AMAZING. The VRBO summary is spot on. No retouched photos or embellishments in the writeup. Very clean and comfortable. This condo is outfitted with everything you need for an amazing day at the pool or beach. Several times we asked ourselves, "I wonder if they have...." and yes. They have it. Right down to a flashlight so we could make our way to a nearby pool for a night swim. Bonnie and Chad's communications were warm, clear, concise, and extremely responsive. If this is your first trip to Maui, or your tenth, this is the condo for you.
My girlfriend and I visited this property during our 5 day stay in Maui. The unit was perfect! They had everything you could need in the kitchen and plenty of beach equipment. The air conditioning worked great as well. The location is right next to plenty of beaches, shopping, and food. Would highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful stay at this property - great communication and accommodations. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with nice pots/pans, other cooking tools, and an electric kettle. The beds were very comfortable and our kids loved having their own space between the Murphy bed and sofa bed. The large pool in the community was a huge hit, and we loved being able to walk to the beach with the wagon! Really great beach just steps from the pool. We would definitely stay again!
This place is exceptional! I almost don't want to review it too well as I don't want it to be booked when we plan a return trip!
Place is super clean and well maintained. Very easy process all around. It's literally a home away from home, well stocked, plenty of towels and beach going accessories.
Beach access is unmatched. You don't have to cross any roads to get to the beach/ pool areas, it's a simple 3 minute walk across a well manicured property. The free parking is great. Quiet community and everyone was friendly. They have security onsite as well for added comfort.
There's two full bathrooms/ shower that are updated. The master bed is comfortable and there's a fold down bed but didn't try it.
This stay is way better than any Four Seasons or Andaz property (which are right next door), don't waste your money for less amenities.

My fiancé and I absolutely loved this home. The location, cleanliness, style, and "vibe" were exactly what we wanted for our trip. Bonnie is an exceptional host who was very easy to stay in contact with, and she went above and beyond to support us through a trip cancellation / rescheduling process. Cannot recommend more and we will stay here again for sure!

We had stayed in Wailea resort before and fell in love with the area. The stay at Ekahi made for the perfect combination of privacy/space that comes with a condo and the amenities/feel of a resort. Highly recommend this option for anyone that is torn between those two options.
Also love that the Wailea beach path is accessible by foot which is the best place for a morning walk/run.
A quiet, super clean, very well equipped condo. High end everything. You could cook a Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. The owner was very communicative and there is an on island manager who responded to our brief concern in minutes. Everything you needed to have fun at the beach is in the closet. We put the Murphy bed to good use when our daughter was able to join us for a few days. Recommend without reservation.
Property was excellent! Clean, quiet and comfy. Great location and Bonnie was so great in communicating ahead of and during our stay. We will definitely consider again when the opportunity for Maui comes again.

The property is well located and our host was excellent. We had a wonderful 2+ week stay. Ekahi Village is a great set of condos and 40A exceeded our expectations. Everything is upgraded and well maintained. We will return.
