Located on the "quiet side" of the North Shore, away from all the crowds, this 3000 sq.ft. home is comfortable and luxurious, with three of the four large bedrooms boasting en-suite baths. Featuring a large wrap around second-story lanai, and another large outdoor oceanfront lanai with loungers, BBQ, hot/cold outside shower, and dining table, the glorious ocean and mountain views won't disappoint as you use the ample space to enjoy your surroundings! Step down from the lanai directly onto a gorgeous white-sandy beach and into the lagoon-like tropical waters. Ocean views abound from three of the four bedrooms, kitchen, and both living rooms. With room-controlled Air Conditioning throughout the home and in every bedroom, the choice is up to you, ocean breezes or A/C temp of your choosing in your own room.
The upstairs master bedroom has a king sized bed, walk in closet and the attached bathroom has a large soaking tub and separate shower. The remaining two upstairs bedrooms each have queen sized beds and full bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom also has a queen-sized bed, with the full sized bathroom in the hallway next to it. The attached cottage is perfect for kids or teens, and with 3 twin beds and a shower, it comfortably sleeps up to 3 people, though not as luxurious as the rest of the bedrooms.
The home boasts a large, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to create a fabulous meal away from home. Keurig machine and pods provided for your pleasure. There is also an upstairs bar in the oceanfront living area that can be the center of many fun cocktail hours!

We had a wonderful stay here with a large family that included grandparents and small children. The house backs up to the beach in a quiet neighborhood, and easily holds 9+ people. The beach is a few steps from the back door, and is great for stand-up paddling, swimming, snorkling, and fishing, and good surfing is a short drive away. The house is clean and well-kept, with a great kitchen/dining/living area, and a good internet connection, and the property manager is very responsive. We will definitely consider coming back in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented Leimoku for a family reunion for a month, mid June to mid July, 2021 —we had 10 ( and for a short while, 11). The house easily accommodated all of us. Each room had its own bathroom all appointed with Hawaiian products—the kids had their own “cottage” a separate sleeping area with bunk beds, shower and another room (just next to the house). Everything was extremely clean, plenty of beach/bath towels. Jill, the property manager, was in a word, amazing. Anything that I felt could make our stay even more comfortable, Jill was on it. The house is right on the beach but has numerous outside faucets and showers. We were able to keep the house relatively sand-free, which is important to me. The house has a beautiful lanai with picnic table, new gas grill and many patio loungers. We spent many evenings grilling and watching and listening to the waves. We also rented SUPs for 2 weeks—the kids loved it, even the adults used them. The house itself comes with 7 or 8 beach chairs, 4/5 boogie boards, beach umbrella, various other beach items. You will need to bring or rent your own snorkel gear. We snorkeled with sea turtles and many interesting fish, we even saw a monk seal at one point. The list goes on. While the house isn’t often rented it’s obviously been updated nicely. It just feels really sturdy. Anything that does need updating or replacing, Jill will take care of it (they put in a brand new TV and we were able to watch the European soccer cup on a new TV set) Waialua, where the house is located, is close to Haleiwa, a great, but somewhat touristy surf town. Still, we spent many days and evenings walking around, eating and enjoying people watching. We had a great stay at the Leimoku house and I’m sure you will too. I’d love to be able to back!
