Very calm and peaceful location with great views. The elevation also makes for cool nights. Everything was well stocked and communication was easy. Would definitely recommend!

Their home is lovely. Well-stocked with all the essentials one might need. The managers are kind, attentive and informative. The greatest gift for us was the peaceful, beautiful area away from the tourist bustle. It is centrally located on the island and a very manageable drive to anywhere on the island. We are very grateful we found this gem.

It was a seven days staying on our first Maui trip. I like the place, nice and quiet at night. I can wake up in the morning and listen to the bird sing. There is a farm with a few cows next to the house. Every morning I bring my fresh make coffee and watching those cows having breakfast; a different life experience which I enjoy the farm living piece and quick morning. The property manager is friend and helpful. His kid and him came to help us about a door not able to be locked. We had a few chatted and he provide a guide to the Island place to go. Anyway, it is a memorable place to stay. I will come back again.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house was comfortable, clean, and well stocked ! The deck with its table and chairs was the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with a view. So happy to find old favorites like the Pukalani Superette, which has a some great prepared foods to grab in the morning for lunch and is just a few minutes drive. If you plan your trip well, the Makawao rodeo ground is right down the road and still has events. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Great spot for remote living and relaxation, while still taking in the beautiful scenery! Only a few minutes from a cute downtown area with little shops and stores, and only 25min or so from the Maui Airport. Even the stunning Twin Falls stop (on the Road to Hana) is less than 15min away. If you want space to stretch your legs and disconnect, this is the place :)

This is a great place. Loved the accommodations and the location. Kitchen and living space was perfect. Everything was to our liking except the beds could be more comfortable. They did not have much padding. Other than that we would absolutely stay again.

Everything about this stay was perfect. Communication with host was easy and they were easily accessible and very friendly. The property is incredibly beautiful with picturesque views. It's an older home but up-to-date, well kept, clean and stocked with everything you need. Perfect location to avoid the tourist crowds but is within close proximity to all that Maui offers. We will definitely book this again!

House was immaculate. Big rooms, plenty of space to gather or for privacy. Views of the property and from the property were postcard quality. Stocked with everything we could need. Artist community near by with great food, shops and friendly people. Great base to start our daily excursions of Maui. Highly recommend especially if you want live like a local.

We travelled to Maui from Phoenix for some R&R. This was a wonderful property with a variety of features based on its location and allowed us to enjoy the sounds of nature instead of the noise from the city. The kids loved seeing the cows every day, and we were fortunate to see a newborn calf as well! The cats, pheasants, and peacocks were a welcome site as well. When the weather cooperated, we were able to stargaze at night and see tons of stars and enable my daughter to see her first shooting star. Every day we enjoyed coming back from our travels around the island to the upcountry and open the house to let the winds flow through the house and cool off. We never the ran the A/C the entire visit as the winds naturally cooled the house. My family enjoyed visiting the bakery in Makawao and sampling the various offerings. Dan was very responsive to our varying needs and we worked to communicate any issues we found with the house so the next group to visit wouldn't need to deal with them. Overall, this house complimented our plans for visiting Maui very well!
