    - The Home- The Coral Home is a charming, sunny three bedroom located directly beach front in a secure and private neighborhood. The open kitchen, living room and dining room areas benefit from the loveliest natural light and offer stunning views of the Pacific. Two of the three bedrooms have ocean views and direct beach access, while the master bedroom amenities include mountain views and private bathroom with tub. All bedrooms have A/C. No traffic noise here, instead you will sleep soundly to the incredible sound of lulling waves. The Coral Home housekeeper takes great pride in her work, you will find the home well stocked and spotless. Our guests here immediately feel relaxed and at home, many come back year after year.

    - The Beach - The spacious ocean side yard is perfect for al fresco meals, yoga, and quality time in a lounge chair under a swaying palm tree. Can't you just smell the plumeria's blooming in the air? You have easy ocean access for swimming and snorkeling, and the sand stretches for miles in either direction. You'll be sure to spot sea turtles regularly, see rainbows on the horizon, and in winter months watch whales breaching in the distance. This beach is protected by reef, so swimming, snorkeling and kayaking are possible year round. No matter what your daily activity, you'll soon find that every evening living in a beach house ends much the same way - everyone gathered outside cooking dinner on the grill, cool drink in hand, while the sun sets over the Pacific.

    - The Neighborhood - You’ll see why travelers return yearly to the North Shore when you lounge on its golden shores and experience that rarest of sensations - true relaxation. The nearby surf community of Haleiwa has shops, galleries, and endless Aloha. Four star golf and restaurants are available close by at Turtle Bay, though few things can beat the experience of eating fresh fruit smoothies or the morning’s catch from one of Haleiwa’s fantastic food trucks. The area boosts tremendous hikes, historical sites, waterfalls, botanical gardens, and, of course, a few of the most famous surf beaches on earth. Pearl Harbor is about 20 miles away, the airport 25, and Waikiki 30.

We had the BEST time in the Coral Beach Home. As previous reviewers mentioned, the home is older but it is very clean and we have everything we needed for daily living. The house backs up to the beach and we enjoyed watching surfers and attempting to boogie board ourselves. The beach is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed sunsets with a cold drink and coffee in the mornings sitting on the chairs and chaises. The a/c in the bedrooms were amazing and for the main areas we kept the doors open for the island breeze to blow through. This home provided the best backdrop for making beautiful memories with our family. We discovered a great coffee shop and surf shops in Waialua, drove up to the Sunrise Shack for açaí bowls and tropical drinks, shopped the markets in Haleiwa and spent hours on the beach soaking it all in. Property management was awesome to work with and would use again. We highly recommend this home!

On the positive side, the location is awesome. I have stayed in this area before and the beach front is incredible. Whales, turtles, seals....The entire process with the management company was great. There were many beach items available with the home, the internet and TV worked flawless. Floors, linens, towels, furniture, bathrooms were all clean. We arrived late evening and spent 10 minutes trying to get the gate to the neighborhood open, only to find out the gate is broken and held in place with a bungy cord. The property gates were hard to open and required two people to move one side. This did not prevent unwanted surfers from coming through the property to enter the beach. Which occurred daily. Appliances in the kitchen are very dated and in need of replacement. Dishes and glasses had a nasty odor and needed to be washed prior to using. There were limited amenities in the home. Only soft soap at the sinks, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1.5 rolls of paper towels. No welcome water, coffee, nothing. Home had a feel that it had not been occuppied in some time. The front screen door was sprung open, the back sliding screen door was off. Several screens had tears. All things considered, the location is great, however the home is underwhelming. We did leave waters, cokes, paper towels and TP for the next travelers. Love this area, but would not stay here again.
