Sweet little house up the hill from town and beaches, nice and clean and quiet. Note there is no AC but with fans supplied and cool night air it was ok, just a little stuffy mid-afternoons.

The vacation rental was located close to Hilo downtown and made it easy for us to visit the attractions around Hilo and Volcanoes national park. The property itself was a little dated. They didn’t have basic supplies like shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Apart from this had a decent experience!

We enjoyed our recent stay at the rental. It was truly a great experience everything was perfect! The home itself was clean n decorated beautifully . It was complete with full kitchen, laundry area and bedrooms n bathrooms all beautifully decorated along with an inside screened lanai. Beautiful green lush yard and cool quiet neighborhood.
My family and I were very impressed with this home. the reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because the yard needed to be mowed, and weeding needed to be done especially around the entrance and front yard. Also, there was a little musty smell in the house.
Everything else was excellent!
Loved the area! House was clean. Funny part was when a neighbor asked if we seen a goat running around. I guess someone lost their pet goat. Would definitely stay at this property again!
I highly recommend this place for your vacation. They have everything you needs and the house is clean. They even have grill for those who love bbq. My love ones want to come to this place again. Lovely house and neighbors. Big Mahalo to the owner and agent. Very professional how you handle all the process.

we enjoyed our stay, enjoyed the neighborhood. It was a peaceful and comfortable home base for exploring the big island. Minor note to the management people: There is a leak from the roof in the lanai by the door (over the rug).

A pleasant Hawaiian type house. We loved it, but if you want TV and air conditioning, this is not your place. Inconvient to have to take trash because of an early morning flight.
This house is in a nice, central location. Very clean. Beds were smaller than expected, but house was perfect for our group of 6.

It wasnt filthy, but it could have been cleaner. Everything was neat & tidy. There were cockroaches, like a lot of them. We kept no food out. But for example after washing the dishes and letting the drain there were tons of roaches on the counter in the sink on the dishes that were just washed. Other than that it was decent. Was in a convenient location to the places we were visiting, nice quiet neighborhood. Wouldnt recommend really cooking due to the roaches.

We had a good time staying at this house in Hilo. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to downtown Hilo and several beaches. It is also very easy to get to Volcano National Park.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilo Hale Kaumana during our recent trip in January 2023, to visit family members who live nearby, and still have our own place with other family who came with us. It was great to have 2 full bathrooms along with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen w/dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, washer and dryer (right in carport) and lanai. Very nice place to stay, close to downtown Hilo and nearby beaches, and other sites. Would definitely rent this house again! Mahalo! :)
