Honua Kai is a great place to stay. This condo was nice and met our needs. It could be improved by adding some more cooking tools and dishes to the kitchen.

My husband and I have been to Maui many times but this time we brought our 5 month old daughter with us. Honua Kai was a great place to stay for our little family! It was important for us to stay somewhere with pools, beach access, walking distance to restaurants, as well as walkways for our daily walks. This place checked all the boxes and the management company was very communicative when we had questions. The beach gear package was an extra bonus that made our stay with an infant even more enjoyable.

Room 201, Korea, was just as pictured. The knives REALLY do need to be sharpened—hint, hint!! We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. The mattress was a bit soft but workable. We could never figure how to operate the microwave. Never used it. The location is super. There are many food trucks behind the property that we used because reservations were not to be had as well as excursions. I’ve never had that happened before on Maui . The pullout mattress was so springy and we had to call for blankets as there were none. But guest services came ASAP and took care of our needs. This is my 2nd time staying and would definitely return.
