We loved our stay at Gigi's place. The place was as advertised and basically included everything that we needed: kitchenette, plates, utensils, plenty of towels, microwave, cleaning supplies, etc. I am also a light sleeper so I am extremely picky when it comes to the comftyness of the mattress, bed sheets, pillows, & blankets and I have to say that the beds here are so cozy, I would easily get knocked out every night after a fun day of vacationing in the island. The beds are that comfortable! Had a great experience, Mahalo Gigi!
The room had a refrigerator, and a few appliances but The area was very small as was the bathroom. The host was very accommodating. She let us have a checkout time at 1:30 because of our plane
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Its location is perfect. A 10 minute walk from Ala Moana mall and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. Gigi is a wonderful host and I would recommend this property to everyone.
This was the perfect location. It is located half way between the two major malls in downtown Honolulu. There is an Island Mart (aka ABC Store) in the next building over for supplies. IHOP is downstairs. This location is also a pick up and drop off location for the Pink Line for the Waikiki Trolley. 6 to ride for the day. It was a great way to see Waikiki. The host was awesome and thought of everything. My husband forgot his toothbrush. It was awesome to see one there when we got there. That was so appreciated. You can’t cook a formal meal here. However there is a microwave for leftovers or for your morning oatmeal. We would stay here again. We had a great stay.
The Unit was very well stocked and the location was fairly close to everything. Our only complaint was the noisy traffic.

Myself, my wife, and two daughters, (10 and 12) had a wonderful 2 weeks at this property over Christmas and new years. The location was solid- probably a 10 minute walk to both the beach and the main shopping strip. Not bothered by the walk at all, the places that are a five minute walk or right on the beach are more pricey obviously. The room was very clean; well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s a tiny kitchen space but it’s got what you need to get by and cook some meals. It offers a beautiful view of a park and Diamond Head, which made for a lovely morning wake up. Watching the sun rise from the balcony was so peaceful. Gigi was very responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed- the microwave went kaput and she had it replaced that day. We felt safe and comfortable at all hours of the day, no complaints in that department. Parking ain’t cheap, 40 USD a night, most places in Waikiki are costly to park though- might want to plan ahead for that. We spent a couple hours here and there at the pool when we weren’t out and about at the beach or sightseeing and it was never too busy; it’s a small pool but big enough at all times to accommodate a dozen people for lounging or taking a dip. Overall, it’s a damn good Vrbo and good value for the area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Waikiki!
Owner very responsive when contacted. Room was great. Close to the beach and shopping. We would definitely stay here again!
This is a great place to stay! It’s clean, the beds are comfortable, it’s close walking distance to many shops, restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend!
We loved our stay. Beds were comfortable and we were close to the beach! I would stay at the Aqua Palms again.
Exactly as billed. Clean and close to the beaches. Check in/out was a breeze. Couple of small comments - it would be nice if there was cutlery and plates/bowls (even if disposable) to go with the microwave and fridge. Also if you plan on staying more than 5 or 6 days and have a rental car, parking on premises is expensive. It's cheaper to park in the garage across the street at the Hale Koa Parking Garage and pay the monthly rate. I found out too late - it would have saved me significantly.
I spent a week in Gigi’s place and it was fantastic. The location was great, walking distance to everything, the beach, Zoo, Aquarium, mall, shopping, busses stop out front.
The condo was great, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, flexible check in, a kitchenette. All perfect!
The condo isn't new; consider it a cute condo in a prime location, owned by an auntie who will do anything to make your stay comfortable. It's right across from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, a 5-minute walk to Waikiki Beach. There is traffic noise, but no more than you'd hear at the Hilton. I used the bottle refill station many times and enjoyed the free coffee in the morning. The beds were comfortable, we appreciated the beach towels and microwave. There isn't a kitchen, but it has everything you need to reheat leftovers, make toast or sandwiches. There's a very small closet, no dresser, so we lived out of our suitcases, which was fine. Gigi had everything else you'd need: blow dryer, curling iron, shave cream, toiletries - we felt right at home, and when we had questions, she replied IMMEDIATELY. I'd definitely stay here again, and you can't touch this location at a better price. Thanks, Gigi!
