Our family of 7 loved staying in this area- great paths to run on in the morning and many great beach options. We never were able to find access to a walkable beach but with not too long of a drive we were able to have some great beach time. Super closer to Queens Bath hike and ocean view.
The home was well equipped and clean. It does not have A/C so it was slightly uncomfortable getting it cool enough for sleeping, but overall it was great! Wonderful home in a great neighborhood!
We enjoyed our stay in Princeville. We wanted to cook some of our own meals and loved that the kitchen was stocked with the pans and cooking utensils we needed. Beds and bedding were great. We would stay here again!

Matt was a helpful and responsive host. I knew I’d love his house when he told me about the colony of Laysan albatross that visit the neighborhood each year. Honestly, I’d have given 5 stars just for the experience of getting to see these amazing creatures every day, but the house deserved it on its own. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in the less touristy part of the North Shore. It was only a short drive to the cute town of Hanalei, where we also used the park-and-ride to catch a shuttle to hike in Haena State Park (reservations required). I also took advantage of the shared use paths near the house which offer great views of the Na Pali Coast. All in all, a perfect vacation rental!
We throughly enjoyed our stay in Princeville. The property was spacious and allowed for relaxation when at home and not out and about exploring. The property does not have ac but once all windows and sliding doors were open and fans turned on it was very cool, even cold at night. Matt was very attentive and helpful as our trip approached. Definite recommend this place! Mahalo!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The location was great for us, quiet neighborhood with easy access to several close beaches. The house itself was very comfortable and had plenty of room for the six of us (4 adults and 2 children). We had everything we needed for a great beach experience...Snorkel gear, boogy boards, towels, toys, umbrellas, beach mats. ⛱️. Would certainly consider renting again. Be sure to check out hideaway beach, best snorkeling we found!
This was one of the most memorable vacations we have taken. We had 7 in our group and everyone had their own space and common space was open n airy. The house is beautiful. Matt was a wonderful host and responded to all questions quickly. We met Chris the neighbor and he was very friendly and helpful as well. Kauai is the place to be. We will definitely be back.
