This property is a great location. The room is comfortable with all amenities listed. Easy access to shopping & beaches. 😀
Unit is ideally located for snorkeling on your own or with tours. The front door is a nightmare to open and is unable to open all the way. No handle on oven and in general the unit needs maintenance. Very quiet location and the pool is nice and the whole complex is very clean. Tennis courts and pool are super close.
Fantastic place and loved the view, the pool and hot tub and the location on the golf course. Sea view and sunsets were spectacular. Gave 4 rather than 5 stars just because we paid top dollar as it was over the IRONMAN and there are a few things to tidy up like the blinds having missing slates and so the room never got dark, we had a few days without hot water because of a power cut. Would really recommend booking and would definitely comes back here again.

This property should not be rented out. It has termite poop everywhere!!! This is on the 1st floor and the bedroom doesn't even have good blinds that cover the whole sliding door! No privacy! They don't even have the decency to install good privacy blinds! The sink was not even clean when we signed in! The condo was probably 85 degrees when we got there. It took 3-4 hours for it to become acceptable! The shower was not cleaned! This is a condo from hell! Ruined what was supposed to be a dream vacation. We flew 12 hours to stay at this piece of CRAP!!! VRBO needs to delist this property.
The unit was easy to find once I followed the instructions correctly. The key in the lock box is a little off as the cut is a little off (had this happen at home too so...)
The front door was a little difficult to open. But a little sanding would fix that. The unit was bright, clean and had all kinds of kitchen accessories. The slider in the living room was extremely difficult to open but management came over and got it to open much easier. Loved the showers, the deck and the view was nice too.
The one issue I had with the place was that there were termites in the kitchen area. I know we are in Hawaii and there are bugs...I've lived on the islands before and you cannot escape them. Management stated that exterminators would be there after we left so I am hoping that got that resolved for future guests. I saw two small cockroaches in 10 days...but that was it! We had two small geckos in the house that were hopefully taking care of them!
As long as the termite issue is addressed I would not hesitate to rent this unit again.
This was a good location on the Kona side. The lanai was big and had a pleasant view. The air conditioning in both bedrooms was a life saver.

Well equipped unit on a golf course overlooking the ocean.
The lanai was huge , complete with a great BBQ and many seating choices. The only slight drawback was the walking path inches away from the lanai, so people walking by and talking was a bit of a distraction.

The unit is nice, although it is lacking in upkeep. The entry door would only open 2 feet and the shower head in the secondary bathroom spewed water throughout the bathroom. A handyman had to respond to fix both. The doorway could not be fixed because of wood rot on the door frame. The kitchen cabinets were infested with termites, and we had to deal with wood droppings on the counters and stove top daily. Irritating thing is when we reported the termites to the rental agency, they already knew about it but gave us no forewarning. The oven handle was broken, and there were five slats missing from the vertical blinds in the living room leading to the lanai. We could draw the blinds but could not close them making complete privacy impossible. Also, the ceiling fan in the living room and bedrooms were stuck on one speed. The unit itself is nice and roomy, but definitely in need of repair and update. It has the appearance and feel of being shabby. My rating on cleanliness was because of the termite infestation.

Country Club Villas is a perfect location for exploring the West coast of the Big Island, close to Ali'i drive shops and restaurants as well as all beaches. Our condo was perfect! For a family of four adults we had plenty of space to hang out. Everything we needed was here and even items we didn’t know we needed! What a great way to start our holiday. I can't say enough about the management company. Extremely helpful, responsive and very friendly. Thank you for everything. We have enjoyed our stay immensely!
Had a lovely time staying at the condo. Beautiful views of the 17th hole with the Ocean in the background. Well equipped with everything we could’ve needed. Will hopefully be back again!

The condo was perfect- the views are beautiful and the unit had everything we needed. It was spacious for our family of 4. We enjoyed eating outside at night and enjoyed our coffee in the AM. The location is great as you can get north/south easily but it’s quiet in the development. Would definitely recommend!
Kona never fails. This property is a great place to stay whether it is with your family or a couples get away. All amenities are available as listed. Very relaxing vacation. We enjoyed our morning walks & beach time!
Would definitely stay here again. Clean, great view in golf course, quiet, nice pool and jacuzzi, & close to everything in and around Kona without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
The patio sun screens need to be replaced. They are worn and torn up. There was no toilet paper or wash clothes in spare bathroom. There was no laundry detergent or dishwasher soap.
