The view shown from the lanai is EXACTLY how it looks! The owner gave very clear instructions for checking in, where to find everything and checking out. The condo was clean and neat, and was fully stocked with linens, pots and pans and silverware. It's also in a quiet location with quiet hours that were well enforced, making for a peaceful stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back if we were to visit Maui again.

Loved it. Spent every morning listening to the waves and enjoying coffee on our lanai. Everything on the property was clean and in working order. Saw lots of turtles and whales off in the distance. Many great beaches nearby and a great starting point to explore the island. Check in was super easy. Would stay here again!
We have been to Hawaii many times over our 39 year marriage and this stay is on of our most enjoyable. Ginny could not have been sweeter. The condo had everything right down to the nightlight! Super comfy bed and bedding. The view especially at sunset was beautiful. We saw daily turtles, whales, spinner dolphins, and even playful Monk seals. The snorkeling was so much fun with a rainbow of fish life. Just couldn’t recommend this property enough. Across the street is Miso Phat sushi featured on the Food network…best sushi we have ever had! 600 steps away is Captain Jack’s which was burned out in Lahaina and now relocated. Reasonable fare from breakfast to dinner. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
Just one thing came up short and that was the couch. Just needs new padding or an update on the couch. Really enjoyed our stay. Next time 10 days not 7!
Loved staying here! So nice that owner has comfortable bed and pillows! Everything we needed and great location! Mahalo! Building very well kept with beautiful grounds! No air but no problem- slept great!
Nice quiet stay, right on the ocean. I prefer no A/C so it was perfect for me. Great breeze and could also hear the ocean from the bedroom. Pictures on VRBO need to be updated. Remodeled kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops.
Suggestion, some updates and perhaps replacing carpet with wood flooring. I would definitely recommend this condo. Thank you.
Loved our stay here! We have stayed in many condos in Kahana and the valley isle resort is one of our favorites. This unit was the perfect home base. Gorgeous oceanfront view. Quiet complex. Had all the beach necessities- beach chairs, umbrella, cooler. Would happily return!
We enjoyed a 6-night stay in this beautiful location on Maui, conveniently located to beaches, restaurants, an absolutely gorgeous and expansive walking trail and the most beautiful sunsets you've ever seen! The sunrises are probably gorgeous too, but we were on vacay and slept in! The Hostess was exemplary in communicating with me throughout the planning stage as well as, in leaving very detailed information for the use of her residence and the surrounding area. The desk staff on site were very friendly; there is ample parking and there is no additional fee (unlike the property next door which we mistakenly tried to check in to first!). I would highly recommend this Hostess and her property!
This is such a great place, and perfectly located to be able to watch the whales in the winter and the sea turtles below. With palm trees just out your window. They are a pleasure to see and doesn’t obstruct your view of the ocean. The resort is very nice. We felt very safe and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be renting this location again.
This unit met our needs. Parts of it could use some updating but kitchen looked new and refreshed which was nice. Balcony overlooking the ocean and watching the whales were our highlights. if you OK sure I hit submit are there in the winter months, I recommend bringing binoculars as you will get great views of the whales, breaching and playing in the water. Nice beach supplies included,such as chairs, beach umbrella, cooler and boogie board.
This property is amazing! We hardly wanted to leave to explore the island. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We watched whales and turtles right from our place.
One bonus was that there were two small air mattresses in the closet, perfect for our 3 year old!

We had an amazing time and the condo was great. Great ocean view and just a 5 minute walk down to the beach. We watched turtles and whales from the balcony each afternoon. Highly recommend staying here and we look forward to coming back.
My wife and I just returned from a week in this condo and we absolutely loved the Lanai. Amazing view of the ocean and because there is not much beach right at the property it is very quite and pretty private. We saw several sea turtles and lots of whales. We realized our second to last night here that we had not even sat down inside the condo yet.
the bed is very comfortable, although the pillows could use a refresh or addition of some firmer ones. The kitchen is a good size and seems to be a recent update. It also has most of the supplies you could need if you plan on having most of your meals here.
Overall we were very pleased with this condo and the property as a whole. We tried to visit some nearby beaches but they were a little crowded so we came back and just stayed at the small beach that is right next door to the property, it is very convenient to get to and was never busy.
We would stay here again.
