The place was a cute studio near the zoo end of Waikiki and a block to the beach. We walked everywhere. We didn’t cook meals, but had snacks mostly here. Kitchen tiny and not really set up for lots of cooking if one wanted to cook most meals. I though the location was great easy to walk everywhere or jump on a bus

Location was great! Very close to restaurants and shops, and a short walk to the beach. Room was clean and spacious enough for two people, w a small kitchen and fridge if needed to cook.

I wish this app would let me upload photos, but since it doesn't, here's what we experienced. From the start, the "parking garage" was extremely hard to locate let alone park in. It was more like a dungeon under the building with probably less than 10 stalls available and water leaking all over the place. Check-in was easy enough. We went up the elevator to the third floor which then opened up to an outdoor walkway that lead to the room. This "apartment" is not located within a hotel, it is a motel that overlooks an old parking lot and decrepid pool area. Those views of Diamond Head are non-existent. Once inside, I noticed right away that the curtains had huges gaps in them. From those large windows toward the back of the apartment, you can see the worn down, overcrowded street and all the people on it can see you. The counters and walls were filthy, the sink had pubic hair on it. The shower curtain looked as if it had never been cleaned or changed. The best part was the front door. The gap under the door was large enough to slide my hand under it. To say the least, I did not feel safe having myself, let alone my teenage daughter, staying here. I ended up getting a reservation at the Ala Moana Hotel and left this filth within 20 minutes. I contacted the host to let him know why we did not stay there and he agreed to a full refund but he changed my reservation dates and only gave a me partial refund, not even a 1/3 of what I paid. Parking (over priced) was not refunded either.

The location is fantastic with a 1 minute walk to Waikiki beach and main strip. We stayed for three nights, but didn’t spend a lot of time in the condo. The condo was not very clean (according tome, a mild “clean freak”), lots of wear and tear. The floors felt sticky/dirty- walking around barefoot felt gross. We did see a small cockroach the morning we left and while I don’t come from a place that cockroaches are common, I realize in a lot of regions it’s uncontrollable, but it gave me the heebie jeebies and I was so thankful to be leaving. But it has everything you may need. The kitchenette worked just fine for small meals and there was a nice hot plate and pans, just no cooking utensils lol. It was a quiet hotel, but the back alley is right out your windows and it can be loud momentarily; didn’t bother us much. Nice views from the observation deck, the pool isn’t something we used, and it wasn’t the most appealing. All in all a fine stay for the price and location. Good for a young couple who don’t care about cleanliness.

We had a great stay. Had everything we needed in the room including plenty of towels; bath and beach, as well as beach chairs and kitchen items. The room windows are facing the alley, so be sure to close them at night because the garage trucks come early. We had a great stay and would book again.
