You will have beachfront living with your own waterfall/spa, large yard, home theater, modern kitchen and much more. Relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
The master bedroom has a full ocean view and it's own lanai. And what a view! Even the shower has a great view. Watch the moon set in the ocean from your bed. Let the sound of the waves put you to sleep.
There is a covered lanai with a table for outdoor dining. The ocean, the beach, the large lawn and the spa give kids of all ages plenty of places to relax or play.
Though our home is on a quiet street, we are walking distance from restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, grocery stores, open air markets, and parks with playgrounds.
The beach behind the home extends a long way in both directions. Boogie boards, lawn toys and sand toys are available at the house. Water toys like kayaks and surfboards can be rented nearby.
During whale season (Dec. - March), the water behind our home is a favored place for humpback whales, especially mothers and new babies. They are active acrobats and it is exciting to watch them play.
Our rental permit does not allow the use of this home for group events.

We had three generations of family together on vacation and the Sunset Beach House was fantastic. The house was as-described and included everything we needed. The owners and property manager (Tara) were responsive, informative and accommodating. Beachfront, and still very convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Very convenient accommodations right on the beach. Master bedroom suite upstairs has beautiful views of beach. A good selection of restaurants is within easy walking distance. We counted 23 turtles that came up to sleep on the beach nearby!

We had 5 adults staying at "The Sunset Beach House" (the book Bryce & Bee-Bee made showing the design/building of the house is a must-see). From the moment we walked onto the top floor and opened the sliding doors to hear waves crashing on the beach 100 yards away we knew it was going to be special. The house is exactly what it appears on VRBO, but trust me, it will far exceed your expectations! The beds were all very comfy, there were fans in every bedroom that we utilized frequently. 90% of the time A/C wasn't necessary but they do have individual units in each room to cool everything down if necessary. TONS of ocean toys for adults and I think the most toys for building sandcastles I've ever seen in one place, if you have little ones they will ask to come back again and again. My fiance and I just got engaged and are considering getting married on Maui, we can't wait to return to the Sunset Beach House with our little keiki and make many more special memories. Our family had a great time at this beautiful property. Peaceful and perfect location to watch the sunset every evening. Well appointed with all you need. Side note: the coffee maker is for ground coffee not for Keurig kcups, in case you stop at Costco on your way to the house. :)

Our extended family of 6 adults had a wonderful stay. Everything is as described and as shown in the pictures; in fact, the photos don't do justice to the beach. You could easily stroll down the beach for 20 minutes in either direction.
The place was clean and well-furnished, the beds comfortable, the air conditioning in the bedrooms reliable, and the rest of the house was kept comfortable just by opening the windows and doors.
The location is convenient and the owners are very communicative. Easy to recommend.

The house is open, spacious and beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable with air conditioning if wanted. Beach chairs and boogie boards are available to use. There was a small ant problem in the kitchen, but we could tell the property manager was already aware as traps were set before we arrived.
Easy walk to the grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and shopping. We happily stumbled upon a 4th Friday event at the nearby marketplace that had live music, food trucks and lots of open air vendors. It was fantastic! If you jump in your Jeep rental and turn right out of the neighborhood, you’ll find a local surf spot, park, playground and restaurants/shops maybe 5 minutes away.

The moment we stepped into the Sunset Beach House we knew we were home. Our favorite way to travel is through house rentals because we love to spend time in the house.
This house is our favorite by far. The location is perfect (20 minutes from the airport) and the view is breathtaking. Everything you need is within a 1 mile radius. There are tons of restaurants and shopping as well as South Maui Gardens (great food trucks!). There is even a gym and supermarket within walking distance. The decor is warm and inviting, reflecting the sunset theme. The beds are comfortable and there is more than enough room for a family. Everyone had their own space! We spent many evenings eating dinner and watching the sunset on the back porch. Although we scheduled many activities, we always looked forward to a chill day spent in the backyard on the beach. Bryce and Tara (property manager) were great communicators and made us feel welcome.
Those are the big things. Now for the small things that really make a difference: a well stocked kitchen with sauces and spices as well as any small appliance you may need, hairdryers and sundries in the bathrooms, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach towels, sand toys, and boogie boards in the basement. We never got to the kayaks, but they are there as well!
If you want to feel at home in Maui, this is the place to be! We will be back!

We had an amazing time. Turtles right in front of the house. We had a nice relaxing time with plenty of space for the kids to play. The hot tub was one of the best parts. Kids loved it. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
