Unique qualities of this unit are its central location within the complex and the fact that it is a ground floor unit. This provides for easy access to the pool, the barbeque and the
road to the beach (which is 1 block away) and is helpful for unloading groceries, loading and unloading luggage and items for day trips around the island.
COMFORT
A screen door, an upgraded window in the bedroom and a patio door, all of which are lockable, provide a cool breeze which keeps the unit comfortable most of the time. There is an air conditioner in the living room and ceiling fans in the kitchen, living room and bedroom to supplement the breezes.
GARDEN VIEW
The very private lanai has a garden view comprised of plumeria trees, a flowering hedge and an adjacent field filled with an abundance of green folliage.
LARGE ONE BEDROOM UNIT
We have rented units in Kihei Alii Kai many times and love the size of the units (700 sq feet in the one-bedrooms plus a 150 sq ft lanai). We have viewed units in many of the surrounding properties and none can compare.
WELL FURNISHED - NICELY APPOINTED
The fully equipped kitchen is a pleasure to work in. It has been upgraded with maple cupboards, granite counters, and new flooring. A newly renovated bathroom with tub and shower is a beauty. The smooth-top stove has a self-clean oven and the microwave is over the stove. 2015 and 2016 saw us re-texture the walls , re-paint the living room, kitchen and halls, install new carpet in the living room and bedroom, replace the drapes, dishwasher, and air conditioner .
Sleep in the luxury of a queen size Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop mattress in the bedroom and a new sofa bed in the living room which has a queen size deluxe spring-filled mattress with a pillowtop.
Furniture has been upgraded with new queen size sofa bed, occasional chairs, dining suite and bedroom suite. A full sized washer and dryer allows for fresh clothes changes in a sweaty tropical climate
The beautifully tiled lanai (porch) has a chaise lounge and a table and chairs and opens onto a lawn with a plumeria tree.
Beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided.

The check in process was very simple and the host provided extra keys to prevent being locked out. A great location with access to many shops and restaurants were a short walking distance including beach access. It was nice to have a well stocked kitchen but could use some washable table napkins. Otherwise, there were plenty of linens. I did not use the pool or bbq area so I cannot comment but heard from locals it is very nice.

The property was very clean and had everything that you could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the local rooster that would come by regularly throughout the day. He was beautiful and very friendly. We named him Rudy.

Wow!! This condo, our experiences, this island. We fell in love with this island and I feel we will leave a small piece of our hearts here. The condo is set in a great location just across the street from the ocean and a wonderful clean beach. The condo is conveniently located next to the pool and easy to get to after 1 set of stairs. The lanai is private and overlooks Hawaiian vegetation. CLEAN, the condo was very clean, tidy and organized. UP TO DATE, the condo has all modern amenities, we especially appreciated the in-suite laundry, dishwasher and AC unit. Although if you open doors you get an amazing light breeze through the condo while relaxing. SLEEP, while it was difficult to adjust to our time change the bed in the master bedroom was phenomenal. It was very comfortable offering a good mix between softness and firm. BEACH GEAR, this amenity is what we used the most. We loved the beach chairs, we used them everyday from sunrises to lazy beach days to sunsets these chairs are comfy. Brad was very easy to work with on scheduling and was easily available for any questions or concerns. WE 1000% RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!! Until next time, Mahalo!

Right across the street from the Kam 1 beach which is the best beach in south Maui. Great location close to stores and dinning spots. The unit is well stocked and very nice. Lanai locker has beach gear and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything a cook might need. Highly recommended.

Excellent location right next to a wonderful beach. Some lovely shops nearby and a great place for the evening with live music. The property had great toys for the beach and ice packs which were very handy.

The property was beautiful, near the beach and in walking distance of many nice restaurants. The condo was very clean and easy to get into. The pull out bed isn't the most comfortable if you will be using it for a long time, but the main bed in the master was comfortable.
Check-in was easy and the owners gave us very detailed instructions before hand on how to get to the property and get into the condo. It did take us 2 days to get the parking permit, however that was primarily due to some staffing changes at the condo and nothing to do with the owner.
Coming from a colder climate, I would have liked an A/C unit we could run to cool the place better at night, it stays very warm in the bedroom.

The location was perfect! Central area of Maui and able to access all other parts of the island a short drive away, or just a short walk to the nearby beaches and restaurants. We didn't use any of the beach amenities provided, but we're glad that the option was available! If we had more time, we definitely would have.
The apartment was clean, and it felt very personal like it was our own home. It was also located right beside the complex's pool, so we went for a quick dip before bed almost every night! Great, easy communication with the owner and a pleasure to stay at. The guest book was a nice touch!
