We had an amazing time. The property is incredible. We were reluctant to stay on this part of the island, away from where we thought most things to do were, but we were wrong. The property is so amazing that we really didn't want to leave for excursions. We ended up relaxing, swimming, cooking, and just enjoying the amazing view. Honoka'a is a great town for provisions and the local fruit trucks and stands are great.
We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs over the years, and this is hands down our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. From the house to the pool to the fabulous view from the lanai, it doesn’t get any better than this. Absolutely magical!!
My husband and I stayed with our 3 adult kids. We had a wonderful stay! A tremendous assortment of bedrooms from which to choose, so we all could spread out. The views were amazing! Only word of caution is know there are wild pigs in the area. The pool, water slide, and hot tub were wonderful. The singing frogs at night were amazing. We loved the rain pitter pattering on the roof. The kids fixed wonderful meals in the kitchen. Lots of games to play. The property is expansive. Even the driveway is amazing. We highly recommend!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Hawaii. The property was spotless, beautifully furnished, and truly felt like a home away from home. The private pool was a standout feature—ideal for refreshing morning swims and tranquil afternoons. Surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, it provided a peaceful and private oasis. The house was incredibly spacious, with cozy bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful details that added to our comfort. Best of all, the actual views exceeded our expectations—they’re even more breathtaking than the photos suggest. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a perfect Hawaiian retreat!

We rode horses for a couple of days at Kahua Ranch, traveled mauka to makai on UTVs, and chilled at the house the rest of the time.
We loved the birds, the frogs, and the mongoose. It was an excellent visit and we will definitely be booking Waipio Heaven again.
It is hard to describe how beautiful this property is; it is even much better than the pictures. How is that possible? We created a lifetime of memories here and cannot stop thinking about the beauty of this place

My family of 10 stayed at this property for 5 nights. It was the perfect place for us to reconnect and have fun! The house is everything you could want and more! It is absolutely gorgeous and CLEAN! I tried to find dust and couldn’t, lol 😆.
The only negative thing I can say is that 3 of the bedrooms don’t have window coverings. There was no privacy for the people staying in them. Also, no way to block out the sunlight. Thankfully, my daughter brought blackout curtains that suction cup to the window so her toddler could sleep.
But, we would absolutely stay here again. This house (and pool) is magical!
