The Location is Great. Lots of restaurants, shops.
It was clean.
Only (2) bath towels for (6) nite stay was not good.
Bed was okay. The pillows were not good.. small and flat.
Firstbtime i have been disappointed in using this app. No mention of all the broken or cracked tile throughout the condo. The couch seat was sprung. The nightly rate was very over priced and i would appreciate some financial restoration. I have attached photos of the unit. VRBO is a great app, but if they cannot prevent this from happening it loses credibility. I want to send the photos of the famage to VRBO.
It was wonderful. Came back two days early
This condo was perfect. It had the most magnificent view of the ocean. It is smack in the center of Kona so you can walk everywhere. The condo itself is cozy. My only issue was having to park on the busy street when there was no parking in the parking lot. As a 70 year old woman it was a little scary.
We had a nice stay. I needed more towels as we were staying for 6 nights… I have long curly hair so when I shower it takes two towels. We spent our days hiking and playing at the beaches so we had to shower daily. I contacted the manager and they had housekeeping bring us more towels. We loved the small touches added to the room, the fresh flowers and fruit.
The grounds were beautiful, and well kept. The front desk staff friendly and helpful. Nice pool and barbeque area. Ocean view from the lani. Close enough to hear the waves pounding! Nice to be able to leave the door open at night to cool the room, (3rd floor unit). Noisy with foot and vehicle traffic day and night!
We stayed for 10 nights and loved that we had a view of the ocean right across the street and were able to watch the sunset from our 3rd floor balcony. It is an older complex but clean & well run and within walking distance of all kinds of restaurants/shops so we didn't rent a car the entire time. If you book a rental car ahead of time through the Palani Rd, Kona location (to the north inside the lobby of the KIng Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort - Marriott hotel by the Pier), it is just a 15 min walk away to pick up/return. Bed was comfortable and we liked that we had a full size fridge and some basic kitchen essentials. The kitchen sink is the only sink but it really wasn't a big deal to us. The pool area offers both shade & sun and is a great place to relax. Dustin was easy to get in touch with and answered any questions we had. We would stay here again if we return. Good value for your money.
This place was wonderful!! Great location! Very clean. Wish we could have stayed there longer then one night. Will definitely book again.
