This property is beautifully maintained and views spectacular. We were so comfortable and enjoyed our stay here! The room was equipped with everything we needed and more! We had prompt response from the property manager whenever we needed assistance! Would definitely stay again!
We loved this condo and the Honua Kai resort. Great location and really appreciated the option of the pools and beach. Having beach chairs and an umbrella were a plus. Only downside with teen kids is that the beach is a beat more rocky with lots of coral so it was not the best beach to try to swim or boogie board.
If arriving at night, it is very difficult to know where to go to your unit. The "towers" not labeled, minimal staff to ask, etc. More direction to the unit would be helpful. Unit was nice and as advertised. The resort needs to cut down of pool lounge reserving by tons of guests at 6:30-7:30am with 4-8 chairs each. No room for the rule followers dealing with these rude guests. Thank goodness the unit came with 4 folding chairs and a cooler! That was helpful! Duke's was great for Breakfast!
We love Honua Kai! This resort has everything we need for the perfect vacation. Quiet, clean, friendly staff, food & provisions on-site and the most beautiful beach. The well-equipped condo was just the right size for our family of 5. We'd choose it again in a heart-beat.
Just need new frying pans. Existing ones are scratched. Did get a water pitcher when requested, but the requested pans never arrived. Nice place.
We really enjoyed our week on Maui. The condo looked exactly as it did in the photos online. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dining out on the lanai and watching the sun rise or set. Our family really enjoyed the pools and hot tubs, too! We loved ordering a beverage from Duke’s while enjoying our lounge chairs. The only problem was that we didn’t want to leave!
We had a wonderful stay. We have been many times and will only stay at Honua Kai.

This is really a great property right in the middle of plenty of activities and restaurants in West Maui. Staying more central would have reduced some of our drives, but we were still happy with our decision as this property was well maintained, clean, and offered everything we could ask for. The views to the ocean and Molokai were awesome from the balcony and being that we were there in whale season we even enjoyed seeing whales from the balcony as well. Would stay again.

Very nice property! The room was in great condition, well stocked and was very clean. The whole property was very clean. The pool area was nice and the beach was fantastic. There was reef right off the beach which allowed for good snorkeling every day.

This unit was exactly as advertised. Awesome!!! It was the perfect unit for my spouse and adult daughter. I would highly recommend without reservation. I loved the location. The pool and bar area and restaurant on property were close and wonderful. Sitting on the lanai with the infinity doors open was just paradise. I can’t wait to rent this unit again.

This property had everything we needed for our stay in Maui! Check-in/out was a breeze, everything was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/plates/silverware/etc.
It was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the island of Maui. It was pleasantly quiet as well, with everyone getting a full peaceful night's rest every night. We will definitely stay here again!
Overall it was a great experience! We'd go again. Some of the utilities like the dishwasher were a bit unusual (the silverware container kept falling through the rack) and one shower door that was always a bit ajar - but these are small things. Otherwise, nice pool, easy parking and great location.
The Hanua Kai is spectacular. It’s our favorite place to stay on Maui. And then the location of this specific room on the property was very nice. I love that it’s on the outer side of the building with views of Molokai.
Overall the property fit the description well. They had everything we needed but I would call the furnishings and items in the property “sparse” or minimal. No games for example in the cabinets or any extra items. But there was one of everything needed. The furniture on the porch want super comfortable but it all worked well. For the price this was a terrific value.

Resort was really lovely, multiple small pools and hot tubs, decent restaurant, small deli/grocer/cafe on site, short walk out to beachfront. Rooms were spotless, glass walls of living and master bath open completely to patio. Nice partial ocean and mountain views. Convenient below ground parking. Check-in and -out were effortless, even at 11pm. Highly recommend, would stay here again in a heartbeat.
