We stayed for 30 days and enjoyed everything about the property. It was well equipped and the property managers are really responsive.The location is great--about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Road paving for the full month was not great
Donald and his family, our hosts and owners of the villa, made our stay feel like visiting family. The villa was calm, very clean, well-organized, and well-stocked with basic necessary items, so there was no need to rush out on the first day. The beds, pillows, and linens were new and of very good quality. The villa was wonderfully decorated. They also had items to borrow for the lagoon for the kids: beach toys, towels, a beach wagon, boogie boards, fins, coolers, etc, which was very helpful to have on hand. Neighbors are friendly. The management company, Mike and Garrett, were very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. We travel a lot and have stayed in many long-term rentals. This is the first time we did not have a list of items about the rental that needed to be fixed during our stay.
We enjoyed the amenities at Ko Olina Kia community. The kids loved the community pool, and the adults loved the hot tub and cabanas for grilling. We signed up to play golf, paddle board, take exercise classes, and use the weights and treadmills at the gym. It was all fun and helped us decompress from work. The short walks to restaurants, lagoons, shopping, day spas, and entertainment were also very enjoyable. Within a 10-15 min. drive, there is a Walmart, Target, Safeway, and other stores just like any major U.S. town. We love Oahu, the community, and sites like Waimea Valley, the Hawaiian Railway, the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra, churches, North Shore Eco Tours, etc. Mahalo, - NW
The property is gated and top of the line cared for. Its within walking distance to food, groceries, ocean and lagoons.
Condo had everything we needed including lots of beach toys. Including chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkeling sets, cooler, towels and more.
Comfy and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.
This was our 3rd time staying at this property. We love the location and it is a great size for families. They changed the flooring from carpet to vinyl tile and it looks better than before but it is noisier. Running a fan in the bedrooms helps with white noise. The only other issue we had was that guests were booked to arrive the day we checked out so the cleaners don’t have enough time to wash everything and we were asked to wash everything before leaving. We needed to use most of the sheets and towels until the morning of our departure and could not finish it all. I washed and dried all the beach towels and put them away and wash the downstairs sheets and towels and had them in the dryer and the upstairs sheets in the washer. There was one more load of towels for them to do. The departure guidelines only asked us to throw the first load of sheets in and start the machine and we paid a fee for the cleaners to do the rest. I didn’t mind doing extra loads but we got a message that implied the cleaners weren’t happy that it wasn’t all done. I’m not sure why they thought we could do it all before 10 am when they had until 4 pm to finish it. I would suggest that that this property leave a day between guests or have enough sheets, towels and white rugs to swap them out then send them to a laundry service to wash in as much time as it takes. This is one of our favorite Vrbo’s and we would stay here again.

The Villa was well stocked with everything we needed. The home and rooms were very clean. Everyone in the group agreed ‘the best mattresses ever!’
The location is very SAFE! And within walking distant to so many activities, shops, eateries, the pool and the lagoons. I highly recommend this property.

First off, this is a lovely home. It's within walking distance of the beach, ABC store and restaurants. Its a comfortable home and was well stocked with just about everything you need. For the price, it should have been perfect.There were a few things not quite right. The master bath sink and the hallway bath tub were clogged. We notified the property manager of the sink and he told us he would get it fixed after our stay unless it reallly bothered us. We didn't think a plumber was necessary so we bought a drain snake and unclogged both. They were full of hair. The toilet in the hallway bath was very dirty. And if you like to sit outside, the two air conditioners by the patio are quite noisy. We sat out anyway and endured the noise. A list of other complaints has or will be sent to the owner. Other than the air conditioners, this is located in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors and other residents are friendly. The pool is also very nice. We truly enjoyed our stay.
I love this home and I love Ko’Olina. This is my second time in this home. I love it here. The new upgrades are beautiful. It’s the perfect location, the neighbors are amazing 🥰. We love hanging out with them. I’m still in a depression over having to come back home to California 😢. If we have guests or family coming with us next year, we will be sure to book this beautiful home again. I can’t say anything negative because I just can’t think of anything. There is one golf cart parking spot at lagoon 1 but at the lot to the left of chapel. Kapolei is great and nearby for Costco, Safeway, and a great outdoor mall with a nice theatre.
Golf cart is great but not easy in/out as you are not allowed to drive on grass. Parking for guests or if you have 2 cars is a hassle as there is no street parking. Texting manager after 5 pm is easiest way for guest parking.
Would be nice and less hassle if there were 2 entry gate fobs which are also used for pool gate. Pool was lovely and bbq’s too. The kitchen was well stocked including cleaning supplies, and in great working order. I did need to purchase a full size broom and entry way rug. The villa had new floors and new paint. I would suggest overhead fans or standing fans in all bedrooms to save on a/c costs. The a/c worked great and we were careful to turn it up when we left house. Neighbors are friendly.
We did have an issue upon arrival concerning the cleanliness of duvets, comforters, and the sheets on one of the beds. Did ask for a bit of the 450.00 cleaning refund due to this as we could not use one room the first night but that did not happen. Just check all bedding as you arrive.

Stayed for a month to work remotely and play. The location and property were great! Close to the lagoons, restaurants, and in an attractive and quiet neighborhood. The golf cart was a convenient added bonus. Felt like a home away from home.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property in Ko'Olina. Everything was as described in the listing and it was outfitted with all the beach gear you could possibly need. We enjoyed our rides in the golf cart to hang out at the lagoons and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The property itself was great. It was clean, well maintained, and centrally located in Ko'Olina.
Communication with the property manager, Darren, was easy throughout the entire process and during our stay, he was very thorough and always responded promptly to any questions we had.

The location is fantastic - close to the bustle but far enough removed to feel relaxing. Plenty of beach toys, chairs and even coolers to make going to the beach a breeze, especially on the golf cart, which the kids loved. We took full advantage of the lovely community pool and grilled there a few times. We loved our stay and if vacationing on Oahu in the future, would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our month long stay at this beautiful condo, it had everything we could have asked for - well stocked kitchen, abundant towels and supplies, amazing location, and best of all the golf cart! Darren was extremely easy to communicate with and addressed our needs in a timely manner. We will be back!
Our very favorite restaurants: Boots and Kimo, Marukame udon (best fresh noodles and most tender terriayki chicken <$10. Line wraps around the building so go at an off hour, and La Birria (bright yellow food truck) at Pearlridge Lower parking lot.
This home and location far exceeded our expectations. Clean and Had everything we needed. Short drive to target, Costco, Walmart… you name it! Just A five minute WALK to the Aulani/lagoon, the ABC store, shopping center and restaurants. There is also a bus stop within a few minutes walk where you can catch a bus into Waikiki for $3…. Yep, only $3. We had a rental car but my daughter/son used the bus system one day. The community is beyond amazing! The pool area is beautiful. Great for bbq, swimming, a soak in the jacuzzi. We made friends with the neighbors who are all soo friendly. I could go on forever about all the good things this home and Ko’Olina have. Having the golf cart really helped with the lagoon parking. Sometimes we Just walked to the lagoons, especially for the amazing sunsets. Beach chairs, ice chests, boogie boards, sand toys, snorkel gear, etc… were a nice surprise. The home had literally everything you could need. The only thing we thought would have been nice to have was a wagon to take beach gear when we walked to the lagoons, but it wasn’ta big deal. Having a lanai off the master was soo relaxing to have a cocktail in the evenings and breakfast of the lanai downstairs. We are Definitely coming back to Ko’olina next summer. We’d love to stay here again but don’t really need a 3 bedroom next year. With the price increase we may reserve a 2 bedroom. If we ever need a 3 bedroom again, I will reserve this home in a heartbeat. I didn’t want to leave. It’s only been a week and I still miss this home, the community, the Aloha we felt while we were there. Literally the best vacation EVER!!! Make sure you check out secret beach. It’s by the parking lot where they have the luau’s. It’s breathtaking. We didn’t find out about it until our last 2 days. Much Mahalo for the incredible experience and beautiful home.

The entire family (ages 23-76) really enjoyed this place. We will always have special memories of sitting out on the lanai each morning with our Costco purchased 100% Hawaiian coffee and watching the birds. The easy access to some amazing beaches and resorts made us actually like Oahu for the first time since we are not lovers of Honolulu or Waikiki because of the crowds and metropolitan feel. The neighborhood was ideal with amazing and well-kept landscaping. Inside the townhome we took much advantage of the kitchen stocked with all the pots, pans, appliances and dishes we needed to regularly make some great breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Having three full bathrooms was perfect for our family, and having one bedroom and bathroom on the first floor was ideal for our parents who stayed with us for a few weeks. You cannot beat the access to shopping at places like Costco, Safeway, Target and Walmart for everything you need during your month. We had a few issues come up during our time, but Darren (property manager) was always very quick to respond to any issues we had and addressed them. All-in-all, we loved the place and would return if we are able to do another month in Oahu in the future!
