Nice one bedroom unit with extra bed, plus sofa bed, and futon. Price reasonable for unit, although only one bathroom. Enjoyed having kitchen and laundry.Knew that unit did not have a/c, but quite warm during summer nights. Ceiling fan in living room only had one speed (not fast - hopefully you can repair fan to increase air flow).Lockbox is a bit cumbersome to relock with key inside. Lock would not catch because key with ring does not lie flat and when lock does not engage, have to reenter code.
Good condo, but I would opt for one with a/c next time. I thought the cross breeze would be enough.
Very nice, ground floor condo in the popular Poipu Beach area. Large condo, older but well maintained. Beautiful garden like gounds. Two negatives - 1) This condo is not air conditioned. This was listed at bottom of Owners description but I missed it. 2) Kauai is overrun with wild chickens. The roosters will keep you up at night especially with windows open to cool.

We were only in Poipu for two days and did not spend a lot of time in the condo. It met our needs and the area was quiet but the unit was otherwise dark. The location to shops and restaurants was an easy drive.

This is a hidden gem if you want a low key place to stay. Beautiful grounds. Great location. Not a big fancy resort but very nice accommodation and pool. We extended our trip by 4 nights and needed a place that was reasonably priced and this fit us nicely. A little warm at times without ac but the fans did a fair job. Great for families.
This was a wonderful place. The property was well maintained with amazing gardens. There was a salt water pool and an area to relax. There were also barbeques that we used twice and both times they had been cleaned from any previous users. The house had everything we needed, from a stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, beach towels and chairs, fans to cool us down and very comfortable bed. The location was very close to beaches, shops, and places to eat. We highly recommend this place.

Everything was great! Before checking in, property management kept us very informed which gave us the confidence we needed. We loved the location and the secluded feel of our condo, especially having the patio by the stream and listening to the water. The condo was centrally located to restaurants and the beach which was very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed and having the washer and dryer handy was a big bonus. We highly recommend this property and would stay there again!!!

A lovely stay in a well appointed and well loved unit. Everything necessary you need, whether svisiting the pool, beach, or sightseeing. Want to enjoy the local farmers markets, one is within walking distance and you will have everything you need to deliciously prepare your purchases. Don't want to cook, a short stroll will take you to several restaurants. Alternatively you can grill at your leisure as well.

Condo was immaculate and had everything needed for our extended stay[29 nights].Unit is very quiet [except for the roosters of course].Meals on the lanai were very relaxing.Fabulous walks to nearby seawall [saw sea turtles,whales and dolphins] Kiahuna beach and Poipu beach.Nukumoi Surf Co @ Poipu beach worth a look. 2 shopping malls within walking distance. The grounds @ Waikomo are a botanical delight. If It's raining head west to Kekaha if it's not sunny there it's not sunny anywhere.Mahalo to John ; the owner , who was staying elsewhere on the island to accommodate our stay. Very helpful but not intrusive. He also arranged for a late departure time. I have a disabled son so the concern was much appreciated!

Great location, huge condo, quiet from guest/ street noise (roosters are probably unavoidable. Only issues were that the lockbox code initially given was incorrect, which made for a stressful initial 10 minutes when we arrived with baby screaming. They handled it over the phone very quickly though. There was no beach umbrella with the beach items, and, despite the many many fans, the condo did get a bit hot. Wasn't an issue for us but we are a bit concerned about our infant! Overall condo was great and I would recommend.

Poipu was an amazing beach and my favorite of the trip. Wish I had stayed here the whole time and avoided the North Princeville area. Stay here and do day visits to the North and West. Princeville is overpriced and not worth it. This place was great.
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Waikomo Stream Villas #401! It’s quite roomy with all we needed to enjoy our time there on beautiful Kaua’i. The beds were comfy. I liked the ground floor location because of my arthritis—didn’t have to climb stairs. We appreciated the extra fans as July gets quite warm. There is a variety of snorkel gear and boogie boards. The location is great-just a short walk to see the gorgeous sunsets. Also walking distance to a large new shopping center with a Longs and many restaurants, including an amazing ice cream place! A couple of minutes drive to Poipu Beach too. The grounds have lush mature plants and sweet koi ponds. The pool is quite nice. We especially enjoyed the new barbecue gazebo right next to Waikomo Stream.
My only negative comments would be some new pillows are needed as some had a musty smell—which is hard to avoid in the islands! Also, some cupboards need a good wiping -same smell. One light fixture in the kitchen seems to need fixing. Other than that, it was a very comfortable condo! The many positives outweigh the negatives by FAR. We hope to be back!!

Nice sized unit on first floor with nice patio. The unit has all the necessities as well as many items for the beach. We brought ours with us, but it would be great for anyone who didn't.
John and Mike are amazing to deal with. They are extremely helpful when we needed a medical recommendation. The condo is fantastic and we will definitely stay there again. The location is perfect and the property is very well maintained. It is very quiet and we did not hear the family renting above us. The condo has everything you need and this was wonderful as we prefer to eat in and then head out for a nightcap. Thank you John for sharing your condo with us.
