Our stay was outstanding! This has been our third time to Maui but condo was our favorite out of all of our stays. The view is amazing! See pictures below. This condo has everything you would need for a stay. We went to Costco right after arrival stocked up and really didn’t have to go back to a supermarket. FYI- coffee maker is the regular not a Keurig so don’t buy pods. There were ample kitchen supplies including dishes, glasses and utensils! We didn’t have to buy toilet paper as we usually do and they ever has shampoo and shower gel. We used our own but that is really thoughtful. Everything work well and was in good condition. We used dish wash, stove, frig/freezer, washer and drier had no problems!The resort itself is well ran and they keep the grounds and amenities to a high standard. The location was perfect. We love this area because it’s on Sugar Beach and it’s pretty easy to get to everything we wanted to do within 30 minutes.This resort has a really awesome sandwich shop Dina’s I believe. We ordered sandwiches. There’s a bakery, fresh market, shave Ice and ABC store just a short walk up the beach. We went to all of them at some point and we walked down the beach every time.Kevin owner of the condo was very friendly and kept us updated on happening that were taking place at the resort while we were there. We really appreciated his great communication and commitment to make our vacation wonderful! We highly recommend this condo and will return ourselves
Very nice condo. It was as advertised. There is quite a bit of construction/exterior work being done on the property, but the noise was always during the day and then quiet for the evenings. Smooth check in progress. Kihei is an excellent location for your time on Maui!
Amazing space with stunning views. A perfect place for my husband, myself and my 16 year old. The owners are incredibly helpful and accommodating. We will be back!

The condo was clean, beautiful and had an amazing view with a very short walk to a quiet, not busy beach. Kevin was available for any questions I had and made the whole process super easy and enjoyable. The location is close to downtown Kihei and plenty of food and entertainment options. I would stay here again without a doubt.
My husband and I took our first trip to Maui 30 years ago and stayed in Kihei. This was a return from that experience. Kevin is a great host and very responsive to all questions and requests. Great vacation!!

Everything in the unit was great! Swimming and snorkeling directly in front of the building was amazing. My only negative is that there aren’t any window coverings on south facing lanai windows. Condo gets extremely hot, even with air conditioning, making it very difficult to sit in the living room in the afternoon
Great location with beautiful view of ocean. We appreciated being on the top floor of the unit. Basics were stocked and stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Pool area was really nice.

The view is so beautiful. We enjoyed setting out on the balcony. The ocean felt like it was it reach. So relaxing and beautiful.
The complex is right on the beach. This is a penthouse unit with a view to die for. The beach is an elevator away. Literally a few steps to the sand and a few more to the water.
The condo was so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook. The ice maker worked great so we had plenty for the day. The shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water.
Everything you need for the beach or pool was provided, except you suit and sunscreen. There were chairs in the unit, but the condo had many lounge chairs setup in the grass.
I highly recommend this unit!
My wife and I went for our honeymoon and loved it. From the get go our host(Kevin) was amazing. Very quick to respond to any questions we had and very informative. The place itself was breathtaking. The view alone was worth the price of admission. The apartment was clean and exactly as advertised. Location was perfect very central. Perfect in every way. Would 1000% go back
We absolutely love this perfect little condo. Removed from the hustle but 15 minutes from anything and minutes from the water. Nothing better than sitting on the lanai with a beautiful view of Paradise, well except wandering downstairs and putting my toes in the water. The condo was super clean and had everything to make the stay feel like home. Can't wait to stay here again.

Sugar Beach has a great location, being in the middle of the island, and the beach is simply fabulous and uncrowded. This unit (PH28) had absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay. I have stayed at Sugar Beach 4 times now, and the thing that sets this unit apart for me was the owner. From immediate response when I booked, to thorough and timely information before check in, to super responsiveness when I had a question (on a Sunday morning, even!) knowing that the owner was available and had my back as a guest gave me total peace of mind to relax and enjoy vacation.
Amaaaazing location, both ocean view and central to the island. Not isolated but away from the resort crowds. I wondered if the waves could be heard at night in the bedroom, and yes! They can!
Host and local property manager responded quickly to any questions. It was fun to watch the long boat paddlers race from our lanai.
We would have paid 3xs this amount at a resort for a lesser view. Very happy that we chose to stay here.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The view from the balcony is wonderful and is just as it appeared in the photos. We appreciated the modern, yet calm vibe of the space. The updated kitchen was fully equipped with, and we prepared a number of meals in it. The bed was comfortable. We were pleased to find beach chairs and coolers available for our use. The location was central for all of our day trips. We would definitely stay here again. The owner was helpful, flexible, and quick to respond to inquiries.
We love the Island of Maui but had not previously stayed in Kihei. We found this unit the perfect introduction for us to the area. Located conveniently with quick and direct access to Highway 311, S. Kihei Road, or Highway 310, providing quick and simple navigation to anywhere we needed to go. There are many great restaurants, stores and other amenities right off S. Kihei Road, but of course you can travel to other areas easily for additional options.
The view from the 6th floor penthouse was spectacular; not only did we have an unimpeded view of Maalaea Bay, but we were also treated to some whale activity. The resort sits on and has direct access to the beach; a great pool and hot tub that are maintained daily. There were several nights we both walked up and down the beach enjoying the sounds of the waves and seeing all the stars in the sky.
Our unit was comfortable, well cared for, and clearly had been updated somewhat recently. We loved sitting out on the lanai in the evening; enjoying the evening sky and sounds of the waves below.
Kevin was great to work with and very communicative. He worked to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We also found the businesses we frequented clearly grateful for the return of tourism and business.
We would certainly stay in this unit again.
The location of this condo is amazing. Overlooking the water, you could not get any closer. From the balcony, with the provided binoculars, we could see the whales breaching out in the bay. It is also centrally located for driving to Kaanapali, Hana and Haleakala.
The bathroom/bedroom setup is a little wonky as you have to go through the bath to get to the bedroom, but not a huge issue.
We would love to return sometime soon!
1st time staying in Kihei and we really enjoyed it. The private lanai and view were as pictured! The proximity to town and grocery were perfect! We will definitely return:)

Overall the condo was fine. It was updated, it was clean and the host was very responsive. The location of the unit has a very isolated feel because it's on the front of the building and you do not see the other building or other amenities (pool, hot tub, etc.). It's personal preference!
I gave it 4 stars because of the shower- a new shower head is needed so it doesn't spray all over and add to the problem. The shower tile's are a bit moldy and it feels gross using the shower. Not sure if this can be resolved with a deeper cleaning / treatment or if the shower needs to have tiles replaced.
One thing that cannot be helped and I didn't bring into consideration is the overall smell that the beach has. It just stinks constantly because of the preserve to the north. It really is a bummer because you cant be outside enjoying the view because it is so off-putting. However, that isn't something that the host can control so I'm really rating my experience based on the unit itself.
