This Villa was amazing! Steps from the beach, at a great resort. Very contemporary. Well appointed. Friendly staff.
We have stayed here a few times now and we have never been disappointed. It's a lovely property. This is our first time staying in the Villa. We loved the space. One thing I wished was that they have maid service such as in the towers but otherwise it was great.
We’ve stayed at this resort many times. The Villas are our new favorite. There were only 3 of us husband, six year old son, and myself but we like plenty of room on vacation. The unit is quiet and away from the hustle & bustle of the resort but you have the best of both worlds. When you want to take the kiddos to the water slide you can but then retreat back to peace of the tucked away property. Close to Kapaula golf course but the kids can stay at resort and burn off the energy. Can’t go wrong with this property. Just a push button vacation. The lanai is just such a delight. Instant serenity.
We loved this condo! As a family of four with kids 2 & 6 and their grandparents we all loved this space and it was perfect for us. Close to the main resort pools and the beach, the coffee shop / market, and the big grass lawn for the kids to run around on. The wagon and pool/beach toys were super clutch for the kids. Perfect outdoor space to eat dinner every night and relax. We would absolutely recommend this condo and would definitely book again!The owner was also excellent, there was an issue with the washer due to the renters before us and she was very quick about getting it replaced so that we could have use of it during our stay. Super nice and on top of her game.

My family and I had a great stay at this villa. Proximity to all the resorts amenities was great as it was all within 2 minutes. Best located Villa in the complex by far. Also appreciated the kids beach toys and wagon to tow everything around. Looking forward to the next time !
This three bedroom condo was the perfect setting for our multi-generation stay in Maui. The setting on the Honda Kai resort gave us exactly what we wanted — the big resort pool for playing, a smaller pool near the condo for quieter times, easy walk to the beach, and food at Duke’s. The condo was also an ideal layout, comfortable, and well equipped. We especially appreciated the wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. The owners were extremely easy to reach and were very responsive to all of our needs.
Based on reviews we read of the Honua Kai resort, we weren’t sure what to expect in terms of the beach. Here’s the scoop: The strip of beach directly in front of the resort is quite rocky and not great for swimming. But you literally only have to walk south for two minutes to find a lovely beach that is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, boogie boarding, etc. Really good snorkeling is another ten minute walk or a 5 minute drive with easy parking. Overall, thumbs up on the beach!
Second time we've stayed here, and we love the proximity to the 4 pools and the beach. Everything is very comfortable and clean. Loved being out in the lanai. Great kitchen, parking and access is easy.
Only negative is that the wifi is weak outside
This place was great!! Very well stocked with cooking supplies and was perfectly clean when we arrived. It was such a convenience that each room has its own bathroom. The layout of this villa is well thought out. Being able to use all the resort pools and amenities was so fun for our kids and it is a short walk to the beach. The property management team is on their game and did a great job communicating and organizing the villa. We were all so sad to leave and want to come back again. I would recommend this place a million times over.
What a fantastic villa! We stayed for a week along with another family who reserved another villa at the Honua Kai. Our villa was in fantastic shape and we felt like we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The unit was very well stocked for living and for cooking, and in fact we grilled out on the laina twice while there. We were able to compare our setup with the other unit and found that we were much better stocked in terms of cooking utensils, olive oil, salt & pepper and the like.
We did have a minor issue with the AC in the unit and communications were great and the team bent over backwards for us, doing everything we asked of them.
I would rent this villa again in a heartbeat. Note that it is the closest villa to the beach and Duke's and has a huge wide open lawn right in front of it. It is also the closest unit to the main road so very quick and easy to drive to other locations or beaches. (Not that any unit is super far from either...but I really liked how close we were.)
We had the most wonderful stay. This property was as advertised and more! It's in the most perfect location on the property (easy walk to beach, pools, lobby coffee...), it's also equipped with everything you could need (boogie boards, carts, beach chairs...). The rooms are so clean and nice and give nice privacy. I couldn't recommend this property enough!
