Additionally, Halenani remains one of the most eco-friendly properties in Hawaii generating almost 30KwH of electricity daily (from over 130 PV solar panels), plus 280 gallons of solar hot water and energy efficient lighting and appliances.

WE RENT OUR HOME ONLY A FEW WEEKS EVERY YEAR as Halenani is our primary residence. However because Halenani is our primary residence, we are NOT subject to the Hawaii County's new short-term vacation rental law (Bill 108) that limits most larger properties to renting only 5 bedrooms. Therefore, we can legally rent all 7 bedrooms.

My wife and I recently celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary at this very lovely and amazing home. We were joined by our children and their families. With five young, active grandsons to entertain, feed and watch over, we could not have designed a home more accommodating to satisfy our needs. After reserving the home for this occasion I immediately had trepidation that maybe it was a mistake for all of us to be under one roof for eight days. The reality is that the home is so well designed there was never a sense of crowding, offering plenty of privacy and a floor plan that allows everyone their own quiet place and little peace of heaven. The entire experience far exceeded our expectations, both in terms of the beauty of the property and the caring and attentiveness of the owners. If you are looking for a memorable and very special getaway, look no further.

We rented this Champion Ridge residence in July and had a wonderful time. We took our children and seven grandchildren there for the week. The location was perfect for running and long walks. The house is beautiful with great views, well equipped and a comfortable layout. It was a perfect set up as all bedrooms, but the master, are situated on one side of the house and connected by an airy, covered passageway/lanai. It gives the feeling of privacy for each family and yet the pathway made it easy to keep shoes and toys outside of the room. The outdoor showers were fun and great to have after returning from the beach. The chldren loved the glass enclosed media room. We ate all our meals on the patio/lanai since it opened up from the living area and kitchen and became one large space. This was delightful and we could easily watch the kids in the pool. The house is furnished in a comfortable, informal manner which makes living there easy and relaxed. Media is everywhere and there is a terrific music system.

Home was great, well appointed and stocked with everything you would need - great kitchen and appliances even a fresh coffee bean coffee brewer, computers in all the bedrooms, large lani with big screen tv and awesome views, great service from the rental agents. It met all our expectations for a one of our best Hawaii vacations.

Our trip to Halenani was spectacular from the moment we walked through the doors and were struck by the awesome views that can be seen from almost every corner of the wide open layout of this home. Beyond the views this home was in immaculate condition throughout and the owners have thought of everything in providing for themselves and those lucky enough to rent this home for a vacation. The bedrooms were spread out and afforded privacy while the main living areas were open to the beauty of the island and beyond. The pool and entertainment options were a hit with the kids and the kitchen was a hit with the cooks! The property managers were also extremely helpful and responsive. Pictures in the listing barely do this house justice and no one in our party had any interest in leaving this property at the end of our stay. We all found it the clear highlight of our almost three week Hawaiian trip after staying at the St Regis on Kauai and the Four Seasons on Maui for our first two stops. We hope to return some day again soon with the Halenani Estate being a prime draw.

My family spent a week at Halenani and had the best week. There were 14 of us. 10 adults and 4 children. The house is simply amazing. The house had the most amazing bedrooms and a professional kitchen. Great infinity pool, beautiful pool and fantastic views. Will come back next year. This was the nicest house we have ever rented - anywhere!
