What a perfect introduction to the Hawaiian Islands. This condo was perfect! Close to the ocean, all the sights and sounds right there. We saw surfers and whales every day. The place was small but absolutely perfect for us.What we loved was that it was not a crowded, tourist filled area - we were surrounded by the "locals" who were friendly and kind. Everything you need is near by - grocery, drug stores, beach, restaurants, hikes. Our host, Leon was always responsive. I think we can say it was the best place we've stayed! Mahalo!!!
Highly recommended.. beautiful location, beaches along the whole north west shore, did daily 7 mile round trip hike along shore to north side beaches... stores, groceries, liquified, Starbucks all within 4 miles...
We just returned from staying 2 weeks in Leon’s place, and it was fantastic! He was super quick to respond to emails, and ensured we had everything we needed. Leon’s place was super clean, and well-stocked with lots of towels, dishes and beach accessories such as chairs, umbrella and a drink cooler bag. The king-sized bed was super comfy, and having coffee each morning on the oceanfront lanai was beautiful. We watched whales breaching right from the lanai many times! The building has a warm salt-water pool which was just fabulous. We found the location perfect also. Far away from all the busy over-touristed areas. Leon provided us with a list of recommendations for food and beaches, many of which we went to and were not disappointed. We found one of our favourite beaches was the one right outside the building. Absolutely gorgeous, and super convenient to pack up the provided beach accessories and spend some time lounging. We found the locals in the area to be super friendly, and had no problems during our stay. We would highly recommend staying at Leon’s place. It was a pleasure!
