Super clean and well stocked - really a nice unit and a good value for the property. The Whaler is our favorite place to stay in Maui - can’t be the location and the staff are awesome!
Maui is our favorite destination!We have stayed at the Whaler 4 times and is always on point!Best beach, awesome amenities and so much to do all around.
We stayed for a week and loved it. The views were great and we loved being right on the beach. The property is an easy walk to the black rock snorkeling spot as well. The pool and other amenities were well great. The towel service was super helpful. I was nervous about the Murphy bed being uncomfortable or taking up too much space in the room, but it was totally fine. I hope we come back to Maui soon. We would book this spot again.
Great location! Walkable to many restaurants and shops along the Beachwalk. Great pool area. Staff was very helpful and nice. Condo owner very responsive via the VRBO app! (Thanks, Roger!) Parking was a bit challenging when coming in late. All in all, a fantastic place to stay in paradise!
I have stayed at The Whaler for years and it continues to be my favorite place. The condo is clean, has a spacious layout and offers a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is right on the beach which made it easy to explore local attractions, shops and restaurants. The staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. Our stay was enjoyable, and the condo provided a comfortable base for a relaxing Maui getaway.
We will definitely be coming back to this condo. We have rented many condos in the whaler and this studio is one of the best views. The host is very quick to respond and very nice. They left us some Hawaiian chocolates and there were plenty of extra towels. This condo is perfect if you want to read and watch the waves. I could have just stayed on the lanai my whole trip. Thank you for such an amazing stay!
The best location as the whalers village is super easy to access for all you needs and dining options. The property has pickle ball courts to get your move on in the morning. Can't say enough about how great of time we had. The Studio has everything you need to make it a great stay.
An exceptional condo, nicely furnished, very comfortable. The resort is in a perfect spot on Kaanapali Beach. Tours are easily arranged, catamarans for whale watching etc pick you up right on the beach. I am so glad I chose this accommodation. Thanks for sharing this lovely place.
Sixth floor with great view. Had a studio which was adequate for us. A bit small but it was a studio. Room wa in good condition and clean. There was some outside work being done that owner called us about. Said we could cancel but did not. Outside work had no effect on us.
I had pretty high expectations of this property and location coming in. My expectations were exceeded by a long shot. Pictures dont do the unit justice, its updated and beautiful. Its on the North side, so being December the balcony is shaded all day, which I love, can take a break from the sun for a minute. The property is manicured like ive never seen. I found a gem when I found this place.

Sadly, the last two nights of our stay was impacted by the wildfires in West Maui. We were in Kihei on Aug 8th to spend time with our friends and were never anle to return to the condo due to the fires. We had to leave the island on Aug 10th leaving all our belongings behind. Special thanks go to our host and Whalers staff for going above and beyond to ship our stuff back to us. Maui has a special place in our hearts and we are extremely heartbroken for all everyone who lost their loved ones and homes. Stay strong Maui!

Comfortable bed and a spacious closet to store your clothes and belongings. Bathroom also has room to store your things.
The kitchen is well stocked and the views are amazing. Sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the view of black rock and the beautiful ocean every chance I got.
Loved having the beach chairs and boogie boards to use also.
We washed our clothes down the hall before we left in free laundry.
The grounds are clean and beautiful.
The Whaler is an excellent property. Close to fun shops at Whalers Village and the beautiful Kaanapali Beach is steps away.
Parking is convenient with shopping carts to assist with groceries you buy at the nearby store.
Friendly and helpful staff.

We loved our stay here, the view was amazing and we watched whales all day long everyday right from the lanai. This unit is on the north side of tower 2 which means you can’t see the sunset, but you do have shade in the hot afternoon hours, making the lanai more usable. In our opinion we liked the shade over the view of the sunset because we could just walk down to the beach and watch the sun go down very easily. Another tip is to bring binoculars during whale season, we forgot ours but we were able to rent a pair from Boss Frogs down by the Safeway.

The Whalers is a premier spot to stay on the Kaanapali beach. This unit is perfectly situated on the 6 floors without the sun baking down on you, makes whale watching and enjoying the view especially nice. The unit is clean and well maintained. Lots to do including tennis and pickleball. All the restaurants and shops just steps away, cant wait to go back.

Very clean and beautiful atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and helpful to all of your requests. The scenery from the rooms are Spectacular ocean views with tiki torches lighting up the pool and grassy area surrounding the plush . Highly recommend this unit and properly.
