Repairs became necessary and they were accomplished in short order. The only issue was that the electrician left the door open when he or she left.

Nice unit. Couch new and has hide a bed. They were working on bbq area but delay was understandable due to fires. Bedroom had a floor fan but could have used A/C and ceiling fan in bedroom was useless.
Just at the beginning of the main Kihei strip, an endless sand beach with an awesome view. Beautiful outdoor patio area with pool, plenty of lounge chairs, large umbrellas and BBQs; could be better highlighted in listing.
Unit is functional, well maintained and easy to access (once you know the little road twist in this area).
My deepest condolences on the Lahaina wildfire tragedy. Regardless of my feelings about the tragedy, Nani Kai Hale is one of the best condominiums I have stayed in during my 20+ stays on Maui. During our stay, the pool and other areas were noisy due to renovation work, but the property management company reported the situation to us in advance and offered us a discount or a change to another facility, which we accepted and stayed at Nani Kai Hale. The rooms are small, clean, and have everything you need to enjoy your vacation on Maui. The only air conditioning is in the living room, but the bedrooms are less uncomfortable to sleep in if you open the windows. The location is close to the intersection of H330 and H311, which is very convenient, although the noise from cars is noisy early in the morning. The day after the Lahaina wildfires, I received an email from the property management company confirming my situation, and I appreciated their consideration.

My family enjoyed our time in this condo right on the beach. Lounge, BBQ, and pool area are perfect. The ac unit wasn't working and after contacting them they replaced it immediately. Many windows and very nice kitchen. A+
Upon arrival we were somewhat disappointed. The unit feels dingy and outdated. The condo grounds are clean and the oceanfront area is very nice, however the stairwells and hallways to the units are poorly lit. The location is convenient but given the Piilani Highway is very close, you hear a lot of road noise. There is no comfortable seating in the living room making it hard to relax. The kitchen was well stocked aside from BBQ tools which would be a nice addition. The dishes required cleaning before use and the coffee cups were chipped. A few days into our trip we noticed roaches on the kitchen counter. The overall lighting in the unit is poor. We couldn't get the living room AC to work but thankfully there is a nice cross breeze. The bed is comfortable but if you open the curtains next to the bed you can been seen from the parking lot, the balcony above and below so there's not a lot of privacy in there. Based on our experience we would not recommend.
This condo is exactly as the pictures show. The location was perfect for everything we did, we had no issues until the end when the toilet stopped working but the condo has two bathrooms!! The property manager did not have enough time to fix it before we left and it did not hinder us. Having two bathrooms was amazing! The grassy area in front of the condo was perfect for our picnic and just hanging out watching the ocean without getting sandy; although we did hang out on the beach a few times and there were beach chairs, sandmats, cooler, beach towels, everything anyone needs to hit the beach. We used the kitchen to cook a few meals and the kitchen was fully stocked. Parking was never an issue, there are plenty of spots available. Great place to watch the sunset in the evenings and Kihei has something for everyone.
I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone.
This vacation was just me and my 17 yo daughter and with the pull out couch, we were able to each have our own space at night and our own bathrooms.
Low key, quiet property right on one of Maui’s best beaches - Sugar beach. Perfect for a couple. Apt is clean and bright , you get the morning sun and a view of the ocean. We would stay there again.

There was little roaches.
and usually i’m not such a crazy person about roaches but all over sink and kitchen. got into our food and everything.
We liked the location, it was quiet , right next to the ocean
