Nice unit. Couch new and has hide a bed. They were working on bbq area but delay was understandable due to fires. Bedroom had a floor fan but could have used A/C and ceiling fan in bedroom was useless.
Just at the beginning of the main Kihei strip, an endless sand beach with an awesome view. Beautiful outdoor patio area with pool, plenty of lounge chairs, large umbrellas and BBQs; could be better highlighted in listing.
Unit is functional, well maintained and easy to access (once you know the little road twist in this area).
My deepest condolences on the Lahaina wildfire tragedy. Regardless of my feelings about the tragedy, Nani Kai Hale is one of the best condominiums I have stayed in during my 20+ stays on Maui. During our stay, the pool and other areas were noisy due to renovation work, but the property management company reported the situation to us in advance and offered us a discount or a change to another facility, which we accepted and stayed at Nani Kai Hale. The rooms are small, clean, and have everything you need to enjoy your vacation on Maui. The only air conditioning is in the living room, but the bedrooms are less uncomfortable to sleep in if you open the windows. The location is close to the intersection of H330 and H311, which is very convenient, although the noise from cars is noisy early in the morning. The day after the Lahaina wildfires, I received an email from the property management company confirming my situation, and I appreciated their consideration.

My family enjoyed our time in this condo right on the beach. Lounge, BBQ, and pool area are perfect. The ac unit wasn't working and after contacting them they replaced it immediately. Many windows and very nice kitchen. A+
This condo is exactly as the pictures show. The location was perfect for everything we did, we had no issues until the end when the toilet stopped working but the condo has two bathrooms!! The property manager did not have enough time to fix it before we left and it did not hinder us. Having two bathrooms was amazing! The grassy area in front of the condo was perfect for our picnic and just hanging out watching the ocean without getting sandy; although we did hang out on the beach a few times and there were beach chairs, sandmats, cooler, beach towels, everything anyone needs to hit the beach. We used the kitchen to cook a few meals and the kitchen was fully stocked. Parking was never an issue, there are plenty of spots available. Great place to watch the sunset in the evenings and Kihei has something for everyone.
I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone.
This vacation was just me and my 17 yo daughter and with the pull out couch, we were able to each have our own space at night and our own bathrooms.
Upon arrival we were somewhat disappointed. The unit feels dingy and outdated. The condo grounds are clean and the oceanfront area is very nice, however the stairwells and hallways to the units are poorly lit. The location is convenient but given the Piilani Highway is very close, you hear a lot of road noise. There is no comfortable seating in the living room making it hard to relax. The kitchen was well stocked aside from BBQ tools which would be a nice addition. The dishes required cleaning before use and the coffee cups were chipped. A few days into our trip we noticed roaches on the kitchen counter. The overall lighting in the unit is poor. We couldn't get the living room AC to work but thankfully there is a nice cross breeze. The bed is comfortable but if you open the curtains next to the bed you can been seen from the parking lot, the balcony above and below so there's not a lot of privacy in there. Based on our experience we would not recommend.

My friend and I stayed in this condo for seven nights in April/May 2023. Everything was great and the property management company excellent to deal with (they even let me switch into this condo from a different one after I'd booked, with no issues). The mattress in the bedroom was SO comfortable and like sleeping on a cloud! However, my friend said the pull-out mattress was a little lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on, so you lose one star for that - might be time to replace it? We also loved the puzzles, guestbook, board games and DVDs (though we couldn't work out how to get free-to-air channels on the TV and maybe it's not possible). Thank you very much for such a memorable and enjoyable week.

We had a wonderful and very relaxing vacation . The unit is clean and comfortable and we got the morning sun with breakfast .We didn’t need an alarm clock because rooster Rod woke us up every morning. The apt complex is well managed and super clean, and we sat at the beach or grass area everyday facing the ocean, we swam every day in the pool or ocean . Highly recommend it if you like an intimate setting .
Everything was in working order, we cleared a large space in the main room for the kids to play with puzzles and toys, even with the large baby crib, and the air conditioning kept the place comfortable. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and the view was gorgeous! We would stay again 100%
This condo complex is in a wonderful location. It is directly on the beach, and the beach is never really crowded. Great place to see amazing sunsets, walk on the beach, swim. It also has a lovely grassy area with lawn chairs, tables and grill area.
The condo was clean, comfortable and just enough kitchen to eat some simple meals at condo instead of going out. The condo was also quiet, never heard any neighbors at all. There was enough parking space.
I would highly recommend this place, both location and this condo.
FYI, I was surprised at how large Maui is, much larger than it seems on YouTube videos.

Very nice location and place seems well maintained but apart from the kitchen the rest of the place was a bit dated.
Nice big apartment for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped, a mixer and boxes for food on the go. A clean pool and a pleasant garden with barbecue facilities, sunbeds and right by the beach.

Good condo in great location. Sugar Beach puts you in the middle of the island and is a good launching point for any activities.The unit itself was clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and any kitchen appliances you could need (toaster, coffee maker, crock pot).Furniture was dated but in great condition. My son found the hide-a-bed sofa comfortable and there was room for 4 at the dining table. King size bed was soft but still comfortable.Condo provided all bed linens and all the towels we needed. There was a closet stocked with beach supplies (a cooler, beach chairs, snorkeling masks & fins, even sand toys for the kid).The cons we saw with this condo are minor but worth noting. The bedroom windows face west southwest and gets uncomfortably warm. As long as you leave the bedroom door open the shaker air conditioner in the living room keeps it bearable. We did see a couple of cockroaches, but remember the climate your in and keep the kitchen clean!Nani Kai Hale really is a Pretty Ocean House! The property is beautifully maintained. The oceanside lawn features gas grills and lounge chairs. The sunset views from this lawn/beach are stunning.Bello Realty was great to deal with. When I called them with questions they immediately addressed them. I will be more than happy to rent from them again.

We stayed a week at the Nani Kai Hale and it could not have been better. Not only is the property centrally located to enjoy day trips around the entire island, but it’s proximity to the beach was ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed having our morning coffee and watching evening sunsets in the lawn chairs as we listened to the waves crash. It had grocery stores, restaurants, and shops in close proximity so it was a resort experience without the busyness of more populated cities. Our room was incredible. Fully stocked with everything we needed, we enjoyed home cooked meals almost every evening and had every dish, utensil, pot, and pan we needed. It was great having a separate bedroom with its own tv too, as my husband and I tend to go to bed at different times. Along with that, having two bathrooms was ideal so he could get ready at the crack of dawn while I slept in.😌 The staff and maintenance crew were personable and friendly and having laundry service was a big help. All in all we truly could not have picked a more ideal property and have already discussed going back. If and when we do, we will definitely stay at the NKH again.

This condo was a great place to stay for me and and my wife while on short vacation in Maui. Very close proximity to all activities we did. The condo is well maintained and will book it again on our next visit to Maui. Will surely recommend this condo to friends who will visit Maui in the future. Thanks again for a very pleasant accomodation.
