Great property in Turtle Bay Resort and walking distance to the public access beach. Also good restaurant in the Ritz Carlton property on the beach.
Very comfortable, two-story condo on Turtle Bay golf course. Easy walking distance of Turtle Bay resort hotel, restaurants, and beaches; convenient to Haleiwa and other North Shore destinations. Accessible and responsive management.
We were all comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and had all we could think of. Check in was a breeze. Beds are comfy. No noise complaints like I had read in some reviews. My only complaint was i reached out for assistance on the fan/light and tv as we were not able to turn on the fan/light. Was told sorry to hear about that. No suggestions no assistance. Felt that was inadequate as everyone is waiting for an answer. We could definitely of used the light and the fan. TV issue we worked around it. Tv worked - we just couldn't figure it out. The pool area is great, the walk to the parking lot for our extra car was short and pleasant and free. Would I stay there again...YES! Thank you for a special staycation.
This property is absolutely not what it’s advertised to be. 7 of us arrived late in the evening for what was to be several days on the North Shore, on our 1st vacation to Hawaii. We arrived to a VRBO property that was just disgusting! Beside the moldy shower, bathtub & kitchen ceiling there was paint peeling off the walls, trim and doors all over the property. The master bedroom floor was delaminated, coming apart and the finish scratched off all over the place. The bedroom & bathroom fixtures were all rusty, one high hat hanging out of the ceiling & the laundry closet was plain disgusting. The window next to the spiral staircase leaked so bad it puddled water on the sill as well as the floor. The spiral staircase itself is unique, however, forget trying to carry a suitcase up it (doesn’t fit). We reached out to VRBO, who were absolutely of no help at all (their response, “it’s a housekeeping issue). Some of it, perhaps, but overall the property is not adequately maintained & has deteriorated into a substandard mess. The property Host was apologetic when I sent her the pictures & apologized profusely. The property owner could care less, which is clearly evident by its deteriorated condition. I would chart a course, in a far different direction than this property & not consider VRBO either as they do not have your back when you’re confronted with a situation such as this. We left, in less than 12 hours, that next morning and found a much more suitable property using Airb&b.
We enjoyed our stay in this property. Turtle Bay condo is quite comfortable. Our unit is very close to the road and I can hear the traffic at night. That is why I only give this property four stars.
Loved the location.We liked that it was out of the city but still had great beaches and food trucks close by. The beds/bathrooms accommodated our family of 5 comfortably.c
Nice property to use as a base to explore the North Shore. Unit was clean and well maintained. Walking distance to hotel and it's features including the beach, walking trails, and restaurants. Golf course was in very good condition. Easy drive to other North Shore locations.
Property owner failed to tell us what unit we had booked and took an hour to get back to us- kinda frustrating. Unit was nice and clean and as advertised, but was the unit on the end of the building and right next to the road going into the resort, so you continually heard cars and busses going by. Didn’t notice it while in the kitchen/living area but you could hear it in the main bedroom. I would stay in this area again but try to get a unit further away from the road
This property is in a perfect location! All the community amenities were wonderful. The walk to the beach was easy, short, and beautiful. Beds were comfortable. The house was well appointed, and we wanted for nothing. Thanks for the great stay!
Overall the place was great, had everything we needed for our family of 5. The only 2 downsides were the upstairs mattress smelled and when we stripped the sheets many large pee stains were revealed. I suggest a new mattresses and a plastic cover! The other downside is being so close to the road and the cart barn- both created a lot of noise early in the morning.
