Our beautiful condo is located on the world famous Kaanapali Beach and shores. You can't get any closer to the ocean then the MAUI KAI Resort, the Bldg. Is just feet away with the best snorkeling right outside the front door. As you relax on the lanai, it's easy to spend hours watching the surfers, windsurfers, parasailing, kayakers, boats, and the beautiful
whales during season in Maui. As you enter the condo you will be amazed by the open tropical feeling and panoramic ocean view. This unit is located on the second floor, so if you prefer, you don't have to wait for an elevator. There's ample free parking on the property. The condo has a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and cooking Island , a hotel style safe, high-speed Internet with free Wi-Fi, free , 46' Samsung Flat Screen Cable TV with a HD DVR plus a Sony multi-region DVD Player.
The bedroom has a brand new king size bed on bamboo hardwood floors, and the tiled living room has a queen size sofa sleeper, a very comfortable leather recliner WITH CAPACITY TO 2 PEOPLE. On the same floor, a laundry room with washer and dryer are available. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards are available to use in the condo. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. There's a new boardwalk leading to Kaanapali's famous Black Rock, which makes it a little more comfortable for a great morning walk along the beachfront without having to trek through the sand if prefered. Although the Long Beach walk to black rock is havenly. For us the condo is our home-away-from-home, and we invite you to feel at home during your stay. This was perfect for our mother/daughter trip. It is as close to the ocean as you are going to get. The lanai with the large windows is perfect for viewing the oceans and relaxing. They have chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. Their binoculars are fun to use. Perfectly located amongst several resorts and restaurants.

This condo and the owners were just perfect! The location is private with great parking. The view is THE BEST! We saw monk seals playing right in front of our lanai, crabs on the rocks, turtles hanging out in the water because of the breaker and of course, whales...breaching, sleeping and trucking along. The bed and pillows were great and we are pretty particular about those. We cooked breakfast every morning and the glasses, plates, silverware, pans, etc. were very clean and seemed brand new. Gaspare responded to any of our questions right away. One day we walked to Whalers Village to shop and it only took 45 minutes. Parking over there is crazy so we enjoyed the exercise. I can't say enough about this condo, the lanai had everything you needed. We ate breakfast out there every morning and used the supplied binoculars to look for whales. I highly recommend!!!

The condo is beautiful! The view from the lanai is incredible. We saw whales, dolphins and turtles every day without having to leave the room. The condo is fully stocked with dishes and silverware but you will need to get any food items (including condiments like butter, ketchup, etc.). There is a foodtruck park walkable and a grocery store, Dole whip, an awesome/weird coffee shop with live jazz, L&L bbq and a lot more right across the street. We even did a massage located in the hotel next door, again walkable. Gasapare (owner) was super helpful and quick to reply to questions. Oh, and the bed was super comfy!! My mom slept on the pullout sofa so she could keep the lanai doors open and hear the waves all night. It was a remarkable experience and budget friendly. Highly recommend.

This unit has all ingredients for a perfect Hawaii stay! Unbeatable views, a great location paired with a very comfortable and thoughtfully outfitted unit. The owners were wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions.

We stayed at Gaspare and Robin's condow for 9 days. It was the best VRBO we have stayed in. The location was perfect. Because of its location you are do not notice the other surrounding complexes allowing you to feel secluded while still being close to all the amenities you could need. The condo itself was so well equipped. I have stayed in VRBOs in multiple countries but this was the best outfitted kitchen I have seen. We like to cook on vacation, so that is a big deal for us. The ability to open and close the lanai was also one of the nicest features. Gaspare and Robin were wonderful hosts, making us feel welcome and valued. Overall a 5 star stay!!

Everything was just as the pictures. Excellent location with a short beach walk to the boardwalk heading north. Saw lots of whales and a sea turtle from our lanai. It was just lovely!

From front end to back end... it was great! The condo had all the amenities needed for our visit. We didnt do a lot of cooking, but there was eveything needed if we had wanted. The lanai is literally a stones throw from the ocean! Some of my best whale photos were taken from there! The pool and bbq area are nice & clean. Everyone was friendly and the property was quiet ( that was important to us). Gaspre may be the best host on VRBO! He reponds promptly and is so very helpful! We needed help that involved the site manager who was a darling as well. It was a perfect get away.

Maui Kai is a great place to stay at. Right on the ocean and all the views of Lanai, Molokai, whales and sunsets. This unit is a real gem of a place. Clean great furnishings comfortable owner easy to communicate with. I highly recommend it (except when we want to be there 😆).

The condo at the Maui Kai was a great place to stay. It does not have some of the amenities that the larger resorts provide, such as huge glamorous pools or on site restaurants, but it's a very short walk to others that are nearby. Groceries and food trucks are also in walking distance. The condos have kitchens and separated rooms, like apartments, so they really feel like a home away from home, rather than a cramped hotel room. Laundry is available on each floor. The owners also leave sundries such as snorkel gear, binoculars, etc. that can be enjoyed without having to buy or rent them, or pack from home. The beach is right outside your window, so you can enjoy the sound of the waves and the beautiful sunsets over Maloka'i and Lanai, and watch whales all day if it's the season. It's only a few steps out the door to walk on the beach, and you can walk all the way down Ka'anapali to Black Rock.
I stayed with my wife and son, while my older daughter and her boyfriend stayed in another room on the same property. It was a wonderful vacation, and if we choose Maui as the island we visit again on our next trip, I'll be looking for rooms here again.

What can we say? Such an amazing property. Weve been coming to Hawaii for 40 years and this is the best view weve ever had. Best trip ever. Everything we needed was there. Cannot wait to come back.
