One balcony overlooked the beautiful water. We watched the surfers. The other balcony overlooked a next door hotel patio. We were able to watch their Lula.Dining room fan and light did Not work. Need more lighting in both bedrooms.
The views from the 2 lanais were outstanding and perfect for sun and shade lovers any time of day. The unit however needs a complete facelift. The furniture is vintage garage sale/thrift shop decor'. The shower needs a good grout cleaning. The kitchen is poorly appointed without even an oven mitt. The glassware, if a wine drinker, is great but the other glassware is plastic some of it cracked as are the plastic bowls. Bedding was below average and cheap garage sale quality. Having a washer/dryer is a big plus for extended stays. Did I mention the great view! The Ilikai is one of my favorite condos having stayed there over 75 days the last couple of years (not in this unit). The Ilikai has great pools and sun opportunities all day. Convenient to a much less crowded beach than Waikiki Beach and Duke's lagoon where you can learn to paddleboard. Did I mention the great lanais? I wish owners would leave cleaning supplies for us renters so we could take better care of cleaning the units during our stay. Why wouldn't you want that? Great views!
We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. It was everything we needed it to be for myself, my husband and my grandmother. It was clean and tidy, we were provided with all the information we needed over email and the views were spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much.
The location and views were amazing, but the condo itself was distgusting and infested with roaches. The fold out sofa mattress was disgusting and full of stains. Guaranteed this place has not been properly cleaned in years.
A good deep clean, exterminator, and a fresh coat of paint would do this place wonders.
Gorgeous views from both of the balconies. I think we had the best view in the entire building! The condo was clean. Dated but clean so I’d definitely sacrifice a new kitchen/bathroom/closets for those views. Beautiful hotel, restaurants and pools are lovely. Beach accesss right down the back walkway. Having a washer and dryer was nice. The bedroom doors are just accordions so you can’t fully shut or lock the door for full privacy. If anything pictures downgrade the unit/view, better then we anticipated!
Cons - The pullout mattress on the couch smelled like pee. The floor was extremely dirty and could have used a mopping. The toaster was broken. The lanai furniture was uncomfortable and the was no smaller table to place my food and drinks. There were roaches, not many but had to kill a handful during the 5-day stay.
The upside is the view from the lanai. We were able to enjoy the sunset and fireworks show from the lanai.
It’s definitely cheaper than most corner rooms; however, not worth the price.
This condo is in the best location with great views of the ocean, beach, and overlooks the lagoon! Many great restaurants are within easy walking distance! No car necessary unless you want to explore the rest of the island!
The condo was exactly as pictured. Plenty of space for the family. Basic amenities provided in bathrooms and kitchen. Beds were comfortable enough. The views were amazing! Loved the ease of booking, checking in and out (contactless with keypad entry). Management provided all the information needed for our stay. It shares the space with the Ilikai Hotel so do expect some congestion on elevators. Beautiful hotel grounds with direct access to the beach. Located in prime area with plenty of shops and restaurants (McDonald’s and ABC Store right across the street). Parked at Ilikai Marina across the street…cheaper rates and easy in/out self parking. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
The condo that I rented was definitely worth the money that I spent, I have been to Honolulu many times but definitely enjoy this condo with the family, it was wonderful thank you again!
Thank you for an incredible and memorable stay! The location was perfect--easy to get to Ala Moana, International Mktplace, the local night market and the lagoon and nearby beach. We especially loved seeing the fireworks from our balcony, and also from the beach next to the lagoon. Having a washer/dryer in the condo was especially helpful! Would definitely book this place again!
