Our family of three was very happy with our stay in our condo at Maalaea Kai Resort. Can't beat the views, nice pool, huge lawn with room to explore the shoreline at the edge. Saw several turtles just steps away from us, nibbling from the rocks in the water.The decor was nice, clean, and in great condition. The location was excellent, with a nice little group of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Only complaint is that the parking spaces are extremely tight. Don't rent a large vehicle, or you'll be parking it on the street (which is fine).

The condo was awesome and had everything we needed. The ocean is just a stone throws away from our balcony so we could enjoy the beautiful at all times and hear the waves at night. Very low key, a BBQ steps away, and we could sit under the stars at night. Perfect!

We were immediately pleased and comfortable with the condo. It’s cozy and quiet, you rarely hear neighbors around you. Wake up to drink coffee on the lanai every morning and watch the sun rise. It’s centrally located to all points you may want to visit on Maui. The condo is sufficiently furnished with all supplies you may need such as towels, sheets, kitchen ware, even sunscreen and sand mats and beach chairs. I’ll definitely stay here again.

PROS: We had a great experience staying here. It was clean, and the view was unbeatable. We were there in February and whales could be seen almost constantly from the lanai. It was so much fun! The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with cooking supplies. The location was PERFECT. We stayed in Lahaina on our first Maui trip, but this location was our favorite. Close to great beaches, food, hikes, and water excursions. The property grass area overlooking the ocean is really nice as well (complete with beach chairs to relax on.)CONS: No A/C in the bedroom. (It wasn’t crazy hot outside during our mid-winter visit, so the room didn’t get super hot. BUT the sheets are microfiber and trap the heat in terribly, which made nights pretty warm. We used the stand up fan in the hallway to circulate the air from the living room A/C though, which made it tolerable. Better sheets could help this issue, and a bedroom A/C would solve the problem.Overall, we had a very positive experience staying here. We would recommend it to friends (as long as they are okay with sleeping a little warm at night).
The property was located in a nice area, with beach side view. We were unfortunately to be there when the water heater gave out. With the great help from Cristina she was able to get us a different condo with also a great view and nice location. The moving of our stuff was not fun but we were ok with it. Nice place but unable to enjoy it due to situation.

Fabulous view of the bay and Haleakala, also beautiful grounds and pool area. Location is pretty central; close to Kihei and Lahaina. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
Such a peaceful place. Walking distance to restaurants and a couple of shops plus the harbor. We loved the whale watching … thank you for having binoculars to use. Great vacation!
Overall was good. Location was central to everything to drive to which was nice. The view was amazing, but does get quite windy. The unit could use a bit of updating - The bed needs to be replaced. My husband slept on the couch cause the bed dipped so bad. We got to see lots of great fireworks for new years across the bay just sitting on the lawn. Lots of space to relax in the lawn with chairs, and the pool was a good size. Quite at night, great place to watch the stars.
We love this area of Maui and specifically this condo complex, Ma’alaea Kai. It is centrally located with the most beautiful ocean front property. The grounds are beautifully kept with a great pool. We would stay here again.
This place exceeded my expectations! I want to come back here on my next trip to Hawaii!
