We were pleasantly surprised with how spacious this space is. We stayed here for our wedding and it was so nice to be able to have space to unpack and spread out. The location is great, right as you turn into Princeville- you can easily walk over to the foodland area if you want. The pool and grill area is well maintained and it was nice to have the option to grill here. I did not even notice there was no a/c and felt nice and cool with the tradewinds. This is our 3rd time staying with Na Pali Properties and the team (Hali & Jane) have been so kind and helpful. I was able to happily reccomend them to my family who also came for the wedding.

The property was plenty large enough for the 2 of us. I feel like we could have had 2-4 more people and it still would have been big enough. All the beach amenities were nice to have. We also loved the pool! Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the North Shore of Kauai.
Super nice space, it was perfect for what we needed. There’s no AC, but there’s lots of provided fans which cool the space down alright.
Would happily stay here again.
Lovely cottage, easy walk to market, great walkway toward Hanalei, cool path down the cliff to the beach! We have stayed in this cottage before and always will!

This is the first place we have ever stayed that my wife has not bought cleaning products and spent a day cleaning. Yeah for that! There were a few things wrong but a telephone call to management and those were fixed. The only persistent issue was the electricity would go out at the unit - not the complex and that was annoying. Perhaps that has been addressed too. I would stay here again.

So quaint with all amenities present. Loved the cat, chickens and beautiful birds while enjoying the lanai's.
Showed up to he property and as stated it’s at the end of the parking lot in one of the older areas in the area. The pool is pretty uneventful a little run down and small, but we use a Hawaii place as a place to sleep and base ops…so it was fine.
When we walked into the house it was clean and orderly.
We walked into the room with the double beds and the mold smell was overwhelming.
As we walked in the rest of the house it was a little better.
We ended up sleeping in the loft with fans blowing fresh air from the windows and were able to do a few nights like that.
The problem we had was to keep the mold smell at bay we had to have all the windows open. Some of the screens don’t fit well and bugs get in the house…which is a bit inconvenient but it’s an adventure!
After three nights we couldn’t stay there anymore. The mold won and we had to find a new place to stay.
The property manager was great to work with and sympathetic to our situation.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to a friend.
I understand the difficulty of keeping a property up in the tropics and actually work throughout Asia spending 120-130 nights in hotels ranging from Seoul to Saigon. That’s part of the charm of a VRBO, I can cook with my wife and have a non hotel vacation. After 13 years of different VRBO properties I have to admit this was the worst one.
