Marine Surf is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few steps away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Waikiki Shopping Plaza, BeachWalk, and the International Marketplace. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options.
There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Marine Surf building, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.
Additionally, you will definitely enjoy all of the perks of the Marine Surf condo itself, which offers a nice pool. All at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in central Waikiki.

Great location. You can walk to anywhere in the immediate city. Noise level is appropriate for the city location. Air conditioning very noisy, old and filthy. I cleaned the filter and wiped out as much mold as I could. Emptied the water pan was a messy job that a frailer individual could not handle. The place was tidy but not clean and there was an over growth of mold. The furniture is also weathered and the pictures are of a newer time. The bed is comfy for a back sleeper but not a side sleeper. There is limited drawer space as quilts and towels fill the drawers. WiFi did not adequately work. So forget using WiFi. The TV channels are very limited as well. Great place to rest and explore from there!

Overall, great place to stay if you plan to be outdoors for majority of the day. Pros:Location is ideal and dedicated parking with no hassle to go in and out. Great experience walking around Waikiki. Plenty of towels in the unit. And house slippers were provided. Lanai was great to dry clothes.Cons:- Bathroom could be cleaned better, specifically the shower curtain.- City noise was very loud and had to use headphones to sleep.

We really enjoyed staying here. We wanted a kitchenette and it had everything that met our needs. The bed was comfy. Wifi worked great, as well as the air conditioning. We really appreciated the free parking because we had rented a car while we were there. Overall very satisfied.

The apartment was clean and in a very convenient location, right in the middle of Waikiki she you can walk anywhere. Getting check- in instructions were a little difficult. The building is Dates, so if you're looking for luxury, this is not the place. But overall, it was a good stay.

Over all stay is great. The small hassle was our code to the mailbox. It was not included in the email. The building manager had to call for it and we had to wait a while before we could check in. When we got our keys, it was very convenient to go in and out. Everything is walking distance including the beach and the free parking is a big plus. We would highly recommend the place. On the day that we are leaving, we cannot leave our keys and the laundry card in the mailbox because we don’t have the code so we had to wait for the building manager again and that day he came in at 9 am. We were a little late on our schedule:
Suggestion: Make sure you get the code before you check in.

We had hard time getting lock code. We finally get code after talking to Vrbo and very frustrated. Finally talked to reality company. They said they sent it 3 time. Both my wife and I looked thru all Vrbo emails during our frustration. We did not get the inform emails. Great place and location otherwise.

The condo was just what we expected. It was a bit noisy at night due to location but we new that from past reviews. Its to be expected as you are in the heart of Waikiki. Two short blocks away from all the action and beaches. Noise died down around 10pm. We had good sleeps.

Pros: Location, parking spot, clean building, clean laundry room and facilities, good amount of towels and hand towels available, friendly managing agent who came over herself to resolve a small issue on check in.
Cons: Noisy AC and the fact you have to empty water from the bucket under it on the balcony, the balcony has too much furniture on it, a big table that cant really be used and should be removed, sliding door to balcony is extremely difficult to open, feels like its jammed on something. The tiled floor needs a deep clean, not sure if it ever gets mopped. The curtains could do with a good clean.
Overall it was an ok stay. The parking spot and location were the redeeming factors.
