This condo is beyond beautiful. It's well stocked, perfect location, snorkel everyday at Black Rock, enjoy breakfast with a view of Molokai and the gorgeous beach. You will be glad that you stayed here!!
Spent 5 days and had a wonderful time! Right next to Whalers village which was very convenient with a fantastic view. Condo was very cozy and had everything we needed! Karen and Randy were awesome as well!
We spent a wonderful 8 nights in the Whaler 208. The condo is very comfortable with updated, island-style fixtures and furnishings. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well appointed with everything we needed, including soaps, lotions, paper towels, tin foil, and much more. There was also an ice chest, beach chairs and an umbrella available for our use. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts on the lanai and took in the beautiful views of the Kaanapali beach and Black Rock. Whaler’s Village, with many great shops and restaurants, is just next door. Randy, the owner, and Karen, the property manager were both incredibly hospitable and helpful. We hope we can come back, and highly recommend. Many thanks!
This is very nice condo with two bathrooms, full kitchen and bedroom, The Whaler has a large pool, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. A number of restaurants and shops are nearby.
We have stayed for a week here three times.
The condo was great, and I loved watching the whales frolic from the lanai. The condo was well equipped, and had everything you could possibly need. Swam in the pool and in the ocean every day. Long walks on the beach at night. Just beautiful! Definitely recommend a stay here and would go back.
Our second vacation stay in this condo which we thoroughly enjoy. Kitchen and both baths have beautiful premium fixtures. We spent time on the lanai with its great views of the beach and ocean across to Molokai. Close to Whaler Village's restaurants and retail stores.
My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary in Maui and have stayed many times at The Whaler. This unit has been our favorite. The location is so ideal for the beach and pool. So easy to run up to the room for the restroom or food. The view is fantastic from the lanai. Many an early morning was enjoyed with coffee and some fresh Papaya while watching the snorkel boats come in and also black rock. It's quiet as well. The unit has everything you could need, it was very clean and comfortable. If there is one thing I would improve, it would be the bed. It's pretty firm, but I am the princess and the pea. So I'm sure many prefer a more firm bed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to again next year! Thank you Randy for a wonderful unit and your easy communication. Made our vacation!!

Very good location on Kaanapali beach. One of the nicest parts of the beach. Shopping, dining and golf all very close. Very relaxing.

Randy’s condo was absolutely perfect! Comfortable bed, plenty of towels and linens, well stocked kitchen for cooking. Lots of extras too like beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach umbrella! Great view from the lanai! We watched the whales while we had coffee and tea out there and enjoyed the sunset too! Everything was well thought out and so nice! We will love to stay there again when we are in Maui!
Great location. The place was nicely updated and very clean. I liked the fact it was in the shade if the building during the winter. We stayed on the other side of the building and we’re getting blinded by the sun reflections.
Had a wonderful time! Nicely decorated. Appreciated all the extra amenities provided. Only suggestion would be to add extra towel bars in bathroom, so bath towels could be hung to dry.
Everything about this condo was well thought out. The two bathrooms were beautifully remodeled. The beds comfortable. The kitchen was perfect. There is no better place to stay in Maui then The Whaler and this is the best 1 bedroom 2 bathroom condo at The Whaler. Would highly recommend it.

The condo was exactly as pictured and described on the VRBO site. My husband, Merle and I were so impressed with the condition of the entire condo. The owners have provided an extremely comfortable home for vacationing.
The communication with Randy was outstanding! All of our inquiries were answered promptly. The details provided made us feel secure about what to expect upon arrival and during our stay.
The furnishings, beautiful view from the large lanai, numerous amenities and convenient location helped to make our vacation so enjoyable. Without any hesitation, we would stay at this property again the next time we travel to Maui.

Everything encountered in the place was the highest quantity and provisioned with a great amount of thought and care.
I could not ask for more, right down to the provisions of coffee, spices, sugar and garbage can liners.
The master bathroom has a generous amount of floor space, well lit and offers a large walk-in shower with both an overhead rain pan type nozzle as well as a hand held or hung wand nozzle on a flex line.
I anticipated the other bathroom to be smaller but found it to be identical to the above described master bathroom.
The beach and shopping and restaurants are all within a 100 yards or so.
We lacked for nothing during our stay.
My husband and I stayed there early September. We were there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were very happy with unit 208 . The unit had been recently updated, the kitchen was well appointed and had all new appliances, the bathrooms were also newly done. We were very impressed that the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials (spices, coffee, oil). The unit was also tastefully decorated. The view from the balcony was fantastic- we loved getting up early and having our coffee there. The location is very convenient- close to whalers village but far enough not to hear all the noise. Highly recommend this unit
Beautiful updated apartment in a fabulous location. This was our last stop after two weeks in Hawaii. We saved the best for last! The comforts of home. We walked to restaurants and hung out on beach.
This VRBO is the BEST I’ve ever been to! The location is beyond amazing and convenient! The unit was super clean and felt like home away from home! The building is BEAUTIFUL! Fantastic location and property. Had beach. Nice walk to food and stores. I hate to highly recommend this, only because it will make folks come, and limit my chance to come back. Absolutely fantastic week here. I will miss my morning coffee on the deck. Thank you. We do hope to come back one day.
We’ve been to Maui several times. But this by far was our favorite accommodations! The unit was perfection! We loved eating on the patio. Easy access to beach and garage area. Thank you to the owners for sharing this amazing unit.
