Condo was just as advertised. Thrilled to have so many hangers, hooks, and towel bars for our vacation items. We appreciated all the tips and suggestions too!
Wonderful stay! Fantastic ocean view. Comfortable beds including pull out coach. Well equipped kitchen to cook meals at the condo, great beach equipment (4 chairs / 2 boogie boards), and plenty of extras like paper towels, plastic bags, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies etc. extra towels, sheets. Great communication from owner Randy.
Randy’s place was so great to stay in. It was well equipped with all the necessary items. The unit was clean and inviting. The location is also a plus, nearby to a stores and food trucks. But what I really think sets their unit apart is the communication. Before my stay, Randy called me with so much great information that pertained to my stay. In addition to that, during my stay, I received many helpful emails regarding fun locations to visit or good food places to check out. All in all, a wonderful experience and I highly recommend his unit. Thank you again!
Absolutely Loved Our Stay – Perfect Maui Getaway!We had a fantastic experience staying at this condo in Maui. The views were stunning—sunrises with coffee and breakfast were a daily highlight. The space is large, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay.The amenities were top-notch, including a well-stocked kitchen, beach gear, comfortable bed, and a peaceful lanai to relax on. The owners take pride in keeping everything in great shape.We also really appreciated the local tips and recommendations from Randy—they made a big difference in helping us enjoy the island like locals.Overall, this place is a great value, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again on a future trip to Maui. Highly recommend!
The Maui Nuts condo was a perfect place to stay while enjoying the beauty and bounty of Maui. Randy and Mary are excellent hosts. The condo is extremely comfortable and well-appointed. Randy and Mary sent us so many recommendations that we will need to book another stay to get through them all! The bed was very comfortable; the condo was spacious and clean. 10/10 would recommend. Hona Kea Condos & the attached resort had excellent amenities. Parking and navigation were easy. The beach here is PERFECT, and you can just step into the water and snorkel to your heart's content. I can't wait to go back!
This was probably the best furnished rental we have encountered! Beautiful, immaculate, fantastic large balcony, an abundance of bath towels for the entire week, spices, baggies, foil, laundry detergent, beach chairs, binoculars…. The list goes on & on! Well stocked kitchen with plenty of frying pans, glassware, good knives, etc.Communication from the moment we booked and all throughout our stay was amazing. Detailed instructions to check in were seamless, recommendations provided for everything from groceries, restaurants, activities were greatly appreciated.Maui Nuts even went above and beyond when we asked if there was any leeway in our arrival & departure times. We had a red eye departure flight and it was SO appreciated to be able to have the extra time in the condo. They were simply fantastic to work with!!!Highly recommend this condo. Our friend group went on a whale watching excursion that I unfortunately had to miss. I sat on the balcony with the binoculars and saw tons of breaches. It was mesmerizing. I saw more breaches from the condo than the group saw on the boat tour.The facility has plenty of chaises by numerous pools & hot tubs. Condo is everything that is described. The owners graciously provide the little thing that most other condo owners seem to not. I highly recommend this condo. We will be rebooking this room in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the condo.

The unit was very clean and well appointed. It faces a small beach access road lined with trees and we enjoyed opening the doors in the morning to all the bird songs.
The owners provide lots of great advice on things to do which we appreciated.
The pools were great and we were always able to find open lounge chairs (November).
Nice place. Clean and easy to access. Nice water view. Beaches a bit rocky but walk a little and it clears up.
We had talked about and planned to go to Hawaii for at least 10 years. Finally the time seemed right to go after losing both of my parents and both of our papillon dogs in less than a year. We needed something positive to look forward to and enjoy. Our stay at Randy and Mary's condo in Maui didn't disappoint. They were very helpful and informative which was much appreciated. The condo is beautiful and very comfortable. We felt right at home. The view from the lanai is amazing. We enjoyed watching the sunset on several evenings. I highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed. I hope that we get the chance to go back. We would definitely stay here again.
We love to stay at Honua Kai Resort. This unit was no disappointment and lived up to the listing. The view of the ocean from the lanai was spectacular. The room itself offers everything you need while on vacation. The owner of the unit Randy of Maui Nuts is easy to work with. When we return to Maui I'll be looking to rent this condo again.
My husband and I returned to Maui with our 9yo daughter to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. We were married right here on Maui so it was a very special trip. I was looking for a condo so we could have the convenience of a kitchen for breakfast/lunch but still had a resort vibe. This checked all the boxes with an onsite store (coffee shop), pools/waterslides, and Dukes restaurant. Our unit had a lovely view and everything we needed. I really liked the location on the property, quiet and easy access to elevators and the parking garage. The pull out couch worked fine for our 9 yo.The beach is calm, be sure to bring water shoes as there is rocks/coral in most places. We walked over to snorkel bond to rent gear, the food truck plaza and shaved ice. The grocery store is also walkable. The hosts provided lots of info and suggestions that helped decide places to go or eat. Overall our trip was just perfect in every way. Highly recommend
My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo. It was in the perfect location, clean and had everything we needed. The entire family enjoyed the pools, beach, and scenery. Randy was super awesome in sharing recommendations which helped us with our planning. We will definitely request this condo when we come back. Randy and Mary you’re amazing! We had the BEST time staying at Randy and Mary's place. The apartment was in impeccable condition, everything was super clean and neat, and it was stocked with just everything and anything you would need for the perfect Maui experience. The attention to detail was amazing, from detailed tips to informative advice on restaurants, local sights, favorite haunts and more. We needed to buy a large duffle bag for our son who was going to camp and Mary even called the local stores to find out if they had some in stock. That's the level of hospitality and kindness! I cannot recommend Randy and Mary's beautiful condo more! Just stay there and you will be well taken care of!!!
We had a wonderful time staying at Randy and Mary's place. The resort had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Easy access to pools on the property and the beach. Randy and Mary were extremely helpful and gave us an incredible amount of information about the area. Definitely a return location!
Stay was amazing. Hosts gave tons of recommendations. Property itself was great especially with my 9month old and 3yr old. Pools are very kid friends. Would definitely stay again.
The hosts are amazing! Before even getting to the island the hosts provide all the recommendations you could need from restaurants to snorkeling to hikes and more. They ensure you experience the best the island has to offer and their love of the island shows through. We look forward to booking 544 again.

The Maui Nuts, hosts for this property, are amazing. They immediately reached out once our reservation was confirmed. They provided very helpful details about arriving in Maui and check-in at the Honua Kai resort. They answered my questions and provided suggestions via texts in the weeks leading up to and during our stay. We were welcomed with a fresh flower bouquet in our condo and some delicious treats (even a few adult beverages chilling in the frig).
The condo is awesome. It was very clean and full of extra amenities. The Maui Nuts provided plenty of dish soap, dishwasher and laundry soap, dryer sheets, food storage (Ziploc bags), spices, Kleenex, toilet paper, and other items we usually have to stock up on at condos. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, a portable cooler, and other beach items that made our beach time more fun.
March is whale season and this condo is a PERFECT place to watch the show. The deck is very well positioned to give a wide view of the ocean. The Maui Nuts provided 3 pairs of very nice binoculars to zoom in on the whales. We spent many hours on the deck enjoying the warm breeze and the ocean view. The sun didn't hit the deck until late afternoon which made it comfortable all day.
We have stayed at the Honua Kai Resort on two other occasions. It is a very nice property. However, this condo and the hospitality of the Maui Nuts made this stay so much better. We will always stay in this condo in the future. Thanks Nuts!
