Wonderful place with a great view! Perfect Kauai vacation spot!
Our second time renting this condo. This stay was every bit as good as the first. When we stay on Kauai, this is our spot!
Our flight landed early and we asked if we could just drop our luggage off then come back at check in time and were told no, which was fine. But the day we were to check out, the on site manager just comes barging in the front door before check out. There are then two women with their luggage standing at the back door and the manager lets them in the back door. This is all happening before we were supposed to check out and the place hadnt event been cleaned because we hadnt left yet but she is escorting these women on top of us while we are trying to get out. It was very rude. I also texted the manager becsuse the smoke detector went off at 5:45 in the morning and she didnt respond or come make sure it was working properly. The condo is nice and the host was very nice and helpful.
We loved our stay. The view from the condo was incredible. The condo was exactly as described. We will definitely stay here again.
The location of this condo in the complex and on the island was ideal. We loved having an ocean view and the walking and biking trail right out our door. And the condo is fully stocked with everything you could need.
Listen to the ocean waves. Beach is footsteps away. Walk to quaint Kapaa shops and taco trucks, restaurants. Located perfectly between North Shore and Waimea. This condo is stocked with spices, and needed items, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, etc... Great Stay.
This condo was a great space for our first trip to Hawaii. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) each had our own beds and space. The master bedroom and bath is very spacious. The beds were comfortable. The condo is very beautifully updated and well appointed with all of the cooking utensils needed for cooking meals. It was so nice and generous of the owners to allow use of their bikes. We enjoyed riding them down the path and to the beaches a few times on our trip. The condo was very clean and the A/C was a nice cool down from the heat. The location was a great middle point of the island and places we explored while there. The lanai was so peaceful to sit out on for dinner in the evenings. We had a check in delay due to issues with the door code not working but it was remedied by the owner and local contact in a reasonable time frame. Thanks Lena and Ivan for sharing your place with others. We loved Kauai and can't wait to come back!
The condo is amazing. We stayed 5 days as part of a 10 day trip to the Hawaiian islands. The condo is perfect for touring both north and south. Kapa’a has a nice relaxing feel. Condo was a prime spot with a breathtaking view of the sunrise whether enjoying from the Lanai, living room, or from your master suite. Condo well stocked and has a great touch of class. Nice cool AC and ceiling fans makes your stay very comfortable. 10 out of 10!
I can’t envision staying anywhere else on the island. We stayed for 10 nights at this place, being steps away from the beach is the highlight. Well maintained, lots of extras they provide.
I have stayed in many condos over the years on all the islands and I have to say that this is by far the best one yet. Very comfortable furniture and beds...fantastic views...the best stocked kitchen yet....spices utensils..and pots. Within walking distance to Kapaa downtown...great pool area with a spa to boot...we had a small problem early on and we contacted Renee at 9:00 and by 10:30 the issue had been resolved....I highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again...absolutely 5 stars
We (two couples) stayed for 5 nights in early May. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessities. We loved the location facing the ocean and enjoyed sunny mornings on the patio. The beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and other beach gear were appreciated along with the well-supplied, updated kitchen. We'd gladly return. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderfully updated and well appointed condo in a great location on the island. The unit was more than accommodating for me, my wife and two teens. Wonderful ocean view directly from the unit. The unit's location is walkable to a number of shops and eateries in Kapa'a (or a very short drive). Grocery locations are also close by for provisions. We had a number of excursions booked for both the Southern and Northern parts of the island, so Kapa'a did not disappoint as a centralized location of sorts to serve as a home base. And don't sleep on Kapa'a itself as it has great eco tourism activities like kayaking and hiking. We would not hesitate to stay here again and I hope we get the opportunity to do so!
This was a great unit in Kapa'a. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the ocean view from the living room and the easy access to the beach to watch the sunrise. Each room had its own air cooling system which was nice - we could choose what comfortably cool meant for each of us. The laundry room is not far from the unit, so doing some laundry wasn't a big endeavor when I had a couple loads to do (machines takes quarters, about 1.50/load)We did a lot of sightseeing and hiking, so we didn't use the bikes provided or spend much time in the pool. The hot tub was a nice place to socialize. BBQ's are located in different areas, so that was handy - we didn't have to wait for a BBQ at all. We have been to various places in Hawaii and have always had little bugs to deal with - but not here. Unit was bug-free and reasonably clean. It is a well-used unit, but overall a great place to stay that was central location for all our day-trips. Thankful for the provided coolers and beach chairs!Any questions we had were promptly answered and we'd be happy to stay here again.
This condo was beautiful. It was perfectly situated to everything on the island. The condo itself had a stunning view and was beautifully decorated. The amenities on the premises were great. Our family played pickleball everyday and relaxed in the pool and hot tub.The check-in was easy and communications with the host was great. Highly recommend. Thank you Lena and Ivan!
It was very nice. Lots of room. Only downfall the hot water was not hot very long.
This was the perfect spot for us. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the sunrise every morning. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Lena was great to coordinate with! So friendly and informative.
This property is clean, comfortable, quiet and a great location to explore the entire island. The kitchen is well stocked. Bicycles and other equipment were available to enjoy. We enjoyed our visit.
The location of the condo was perfect, I loved having the ocean view from our patio and bedroom window. They also provided beach chairs and toys to use on the beach which was great. The kitchen also had everything we needed for cooking and making coffee. I would definitely stay here again.
This place has it all. Great amenities, clean, and in the perfect spot on the beach. Close to the shore, shops and restaurants. The bike path tops it off. I’d highly recommend this place.

Condo was amazing! Right on the water, you can hear the waves!! This condo was stocked with everything you could ever need for an amazing Hawaiian vacation. So nice inside the condo, very clean, nice furniture and very comfortable beds!! Will definitely stay here again. Easy access to north and south side of the island. Great shops and restaurants very close to resort too! Bike path is so nice to ride for a short or long ride!
Our stay at this condo was absolutely wonderful! The location couldn’t be better—right next to a stunning ocean beach, offering breathtaking views and easy access. The condo was well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, making it convenient to prepare meals. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return!
The condo was lovely and well stocked for cooking onsite. Beautiful view of ocean and loved that we could walk out onto the lanai and across the grass to a small beach. The owner and property manager were very responsive to questions. Kauai is such an amazing island! We would like to stay at this condo again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pono Kai condo. The photos and description of the property and amenities were spot on. Use of the beach equipment, bikes, etc. made the trip even better. Lena was an excellent property manager and provided a clear and useful instruction sheet of the condo. Our only complaint would be the early checkout time of 10:00am. The only non-stop flight off Kauai was 10:00 pm. We had a whole day to kill without a place to come back to which forced us to spend more time at the airport than we would have liked. Other than that, our trip was fantastic!
Very well appointed thank the owner for great stay . Corporate should of said more about construction to building along with unit above. A number of days no access from slideing door
This place was great! We would definitely stay here again! It was very clean. Lots of activities on the grounds (pool, ping pong, corn hole, chest, mini golf). We watched the sunrise the 1st morning and went for a walk in town and got some great coffee. Another morning we enjoyed a bike ride. This place has everything you need (beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler w/ ice packs in freezer). The AC worked great! We ate off the porch one night and enjoyed the ocean front scenery.
Everything listed and more. Beautiful condo, incredible clean and every beach accessory you could think of and more.

Absolutely beautiful condo. The owners did a fantastic job decorating!!! Ground floor, just steps to the ocean. So many shops and restaurants to walk to, and the bike path right in front. The owners outdid themselves with stocking the unit with so many wonderful extras. You felt the essence of aloha as soon as you entered. Only 2 things would have made it 110%, did not state that the washer and dryer were coin operated, and around the corner from the unit. And would have liked the guest room to have a queen size bed instead of a full. With 2 grown adults sharing is a bit tight. We used the sofa bed, which was very comfortable!
Would stay here again!
