We rented a 2 bedroom first floor unit. It was more than we could have hoped for. The ocean view was spectacular! Saw whales and turtles! The unit was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. This was our second visit.

Our family of five had a great time staying at Makani Sands! We love being right on the water, love the ocean front bbq’s and the rental we had was so comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our week’s stay there. Love the location as well, it is within walking distance to shops, coffee and dining and is just a short drive away from Kaanapali!

The common hallways were not vacuumed daily of sand. Otherwise, the property is very well kept. Staff very friendly. Great location. Suites adequate for our needs. Beautiful views of Lanai & Molokai. The best is the view from our lanai of the ocean and turtles. Snorkeling is great for kids and adults alike. I found it very relaxing mesmerizing watch the ocean.

It is nice place to live for family or groups, beach front. Everything is in condo, good for families with small kids. Snorking gear, board games, AC, Beach towels, beach chairs are part of booking.

The condo is cramped for 5 people. The couch is older and not that comfortable. The 2 swivel chairs are in need of replacement. It was difficult for our family of 5 to sit and watch TV together. The picture of the beach was taken at the low tide which lasts for about an hour, otherwise the water is hitting the sea wall and not real safe to get in the water. The master shower is very small and cramped. The kitchen is well stocked and even had a number of spices. The office personnel are very nice but the office is closed on the weekends which is difficult if you need supplies or assistance. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds which are small, my 17 yr old boys were hanging off the edge. The master bedroom could use nightstands. We enjoyed our stay in Maui but we would stay in a different condo next time especially with the cost per night being pretty expensive.

This is a great location for beach goers. We used the beach, plus used the location as a base camp for thebroad to Hana and the national park. The condo was clean amd as advertised. This place has epic sunsets. The beds were comfortable as well as the furniture. I highly recommend this condo.
