Stay in our lovely Kihei cottage (ohana) comfortably tucked away in the back of the property. You'll be surrounded by palm trees and tropical greenery. Cozy, relaxed, clean 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath located one block from the beach. Close enough to walk to the best "learn to surf" beach. Optimal location in central Kihei. Walking distance to the Cove surf break & Kalama Park, local beaches, restaurants and shopping. Maximum of 4 guests.

There is a main house in the front of the property rented to other guests, as well there is a space for us, the owners. We do require all guests to arrive before 9 pm as we will greet you personally and we are required to keep disturbance to the neighbors at a minimum. It takes a minimum of 1.5 hours from landing to arriving at the house without any delays, so your flight will need to land by 7:30 pm. We recommend landing early afternoon to ensure you will arrive at the house for check-in well before 9 pm. We can generally check-in earlier than 4 pm. Please read all of the policies before booking to make sure we are a good fit for you. Note the listing is not suitable for children under 12.

We have filtered water and ice so purchase a reusable Maui water bottle or bring one of your own. :)

We like to give privacy to our guests during their stay, so if you need anything, texting is the best way to communicate. However, if you have lots of questions, we are here to answer them!

Please note: Check in is from 4 pm to 9 pm. All guests must check-in at the same time and before 9 pm. We cannot accept check-ins after 9 pm. A short term rental agreement is required once a booking has been made. The Guest making the booking must be staying at the property, no 3rd party bookings are allowed. There is not an outdoor BBQ grill or use of grill on site.

Policies:
- Maui County Regulations: Quiet hours from 9 pm until 8 am. If there are noise complaints, your rental contract will be cancelled with no refund. No parties, events or gatherings are permitted. Registered Guests only allowed on the property at any time. If you have friends or family in Maui, visiting or gathering will have to be at other locations.

Great getaway from the crowds in this lovely cottage, just steps from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close to the main amenities. It had everything we needed for our family break. Would recommend.

Very clean and quiet space. Walking distance to some awesome beaches. Really enjoyed the peaceful spot to retreat to at the end of the day and the ability to walk the beach in the morning. Everything we could have needed for an extended stay was there. Great spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. After running around each day seeing the sights of Maui, it was so nice to return to this house in a quiet neighborhood, away from the noisy tourist-crowded hotels & restaurants! The beds were very comfortable, and Leanne was easy to communicate with and helpful without being intrusive. We highly recommend if you are not into the hustle-bustle of the many hotels and condos on the island. J&M January 2023

The location of this beach cottage is perfect! It is a short walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The quaint neighborhood is a slice of heaven on Earth with quiet and respectful residents. The host, Leanne, has exceptional attention to detail. The home had everything we could possible want or need and was in pristine condition.
