    This location was perfect for our stay. The property manager was so helpful and quick to respond to our requests and issues. The property is a bit smaller than it appears in the photos but it works just fine for two people. The kitchen is more than adequate and is stocked with everything we needed. The bed is a full/queen and VERY firm and just a mattress. I purchased a memory foam topper for our stay so I could sleep a bit more comfortably. ( That’s personal preference not a criticism of the bed.) We were abl to give it to our son at the end of our stay. The floors are all tile so easy to keep clean. Bathroom lighting is on one switch so when it’s on the light comes through the louvers into the bedroom, that’s a bit inconvenient at night. The linens provided were clean and new or new-ish. There is no closet, but the storage for clothing is more than adequate. There is a hanging rack in the bathroom, vanity side. The wall paper in spots and the drapes could use a bit of attention but that is very minor. The A/C works great. We could not hear any of the neighbors, that’s a plus in a building like this. The check in process was smooth and all building staff were pleasant and helpful. Even though we were working, the free onsite laundry is amazing for a beach vacation! We had two issues that were responded to immediately. 1.The battery in the security door was dying and not letting us in. A maintenance man showed upright away. Thank you. 2. The neighbors smoke could be smelled in the room- an air purifier was brought over the same day. Again, the management company responded so quickly and thoroughly. Valet parking is a bit pricey, but there are other options in the neighborhood but realize that parking everywhere on Waikiki is expensive. The beach is about a 7-10 minute walk away. It was nice to be off the main drag with all it’s noise. One perk I was not expecting... we could watch the Friday night fireworks from the lanai ledge and we had a great view of the AlaWai canal and baseball field in the park. I would recommend this unit for active singles or couples who are planning to be out and about.
