This ground floor, two bedroom oceanfront condo at the Kihei Surfside Resort is located at the ocean end of the building, in the coveted "1 stack", which are the closest to the ocean two bedroom condos in all of Kihei or Wailea. It has 830 sq ft of living space, not including the lanai. It has a spectacular 270 degree view from the kitchen, living room, dining area, master bedroom and lanai. The lanai opens onto emerald green grass, and overlooks the rocky point which shelters Keawakapu beach, which starts 100 steps to the south and stretches for a mile toward Wailea. The islands of Lanai, Molokini and Kahoolawe are clearly visible. The view of the ocean and its abundant wildlife is absolutely breathtaking. It was completely remodeled and refurnished in November 2015, and is spectacular in every way! This is one the finest 2 bedroom units, in the best location anywhere in south Kihei.

The entire unit has porcelain flooring. All the cabinetry, which was custom made and imported from Canada, is cherry stained maple, and all counters and vanities are topped with granite. All lighting in all rooms is controlled by dimmer switches.

The gourmet kitchen is spectacular! There are large windows through which there is a spectacular view to the south of Keawakapu Beach, (voted Maui's "most romantic, where there are dozens of weddings each year), Molokini Crater and the island of Kahoolawe. It is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including side by side fridge/freezer with ice maker, flat top stove with five burners, quiet dishwasher, multi-function microwave oven, garbage disposer, under cabinet lighting and a variety of small appliances including coffee maker, coffee grinder, four slice toaster, blender, crock pot, rice maker and hand mixer. There is also a large selection of higher end pots and pans, baking pans, knives, BBQ tools, extensive spice rack and ample matching dishes, glasses and cutlery. The kitchen peninsula has a six foot eating ledge with two barstools.

Everything was just as the listing promised! The view from this unit was breathtaking & the location couldnt be better! The beach was so close & the pool just steps from the patio. The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable & the in-unit washer/dryer was super convenient! Hope to stay in this unit again in the future!

We had a great time staying in Kihei Surfside 101. The location and views absolutely cannot be beaten. The condo was well equipped and clean. We had everything we needed. Did I mention the view? It is second to none!

We had an overall nice stay. The view from the condo can not be beat. 40 feet from the crashing waves is exactly that, just as estated in the listing. The condo itself was roomy and suited our needs. Be sure to secure your windows at night with the wooden sticks. This was not told to us. The location of the resort was not ideal. Kinda isolated from the other main resort and condo developments. Be sure to use all the fans to get good air circulation. Wifi was great as well as the kitchen where everything you needed was provided. Everything here was good except the location.

I stayed here with my two teenage children in late July. The view is stunning and the unit was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs (obtained from office), and a beach umbrella, boogie boards and pool noodles in the lanai storage cabinets. The unit had a front row seat to amazing nightly sunsets and is a very short walk to a beautiful beach. We used the pool a few times and the grills - both were never crowded. I highly recommend this unit and would return without hesitation.

The unit was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as pictured and described. Right next to a fantastic beach and also a good home base for exploring the rest of the island. Loved the end unit with its expansive views and spacious lanai. Perfect spot for watching the sunset. We were pleasantly surprised to see whales (a little early for season), and saw numerous turtles from the lanai. The only small surprise was the presence of a shower for rinsing sand which was located off to the side of the building. While this was convenient when we went to the beach, we could often hear the water coming on since we had the windows open for the breeze. The many other positives far outweighed this very minor thing. We loved our stay and would be happy to come back.

This was a lovely suite, with an amazing view. Very well equipped and private with the boardwalk below the ground level there. The only improvement would be to replace the king mattress. It is getting worn out and is a little soft.

This unit is incredibly located steps from the tide pools on a beautifully manicured lawn overlooking the ocean. The beach is super short walk away and offers great place to swim, snorkel and paddle board rentals are available. Restaurants and grocery are short (5min) drive away. Highly recommend.

We came in with high expectations, based upon the pictures and reviews. This place exceeded all expectations, beginning with the view from the Lanai. It beat the best views we had at 2 high-end restaurants, so we just ate every other meal there. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed, bathrooms too. Plenty of space to spread out. Snorkel gear and boogie boards in the cabinet. We snorkeled around the reef and rocks in front of the property and saw turtles and beautiful fish. Swam and body-surfed Keawakapu beach almost every day. The property was quiet, peaceful, clean and beautiful. We absolutely LOVED this condo and plan to come back again someday.
