Mer Et Soleil was recently extensively upgraded, updated, and re-decorated with new carpets, all new wall paint, wall art, decor items, interior and exterior furnishings, lighting, and much more. Guests who choose K408 for a visit will enjoy a state-of-art trend-setting residential vacation that will surely be one of the very best in all of Wailea.
This beautifully decorated spacious residence has three well appointed bedrooms, each with full baths, as well as a fourth sleeping space situated off the great room, in a convenient enclosed den/alcove bedroom. Within the den/alcove bedroom is a brand new king bed (not a sofa bed!), side chairs, a dresser, large flat panel television with digital cable box and an assortment of convenient office supplies including a printer/fax. It has a beautiful mountain view and is enclosed with shoji sliding doors.
Some of our favorite features of K408 include the 64 inch great room TV with HD DVR, baby grand piano, deep soaking tub, glass blocked encircled master bath shower, elongated plush living room sofas, rounded dining table, nine foot lofty ceilings, honed marble floors, oversized floor plan, granite and Mahogany finishes, all cotton bath and bed linens, down duvets, eastern king beds, and large flat panel televisions with premium channels. The baby grand piano is kept finely tuned. The kitchen is airy and bright and it has a small walk-out terrace with sliding doors that may be opened for fresh air and a full view of Haleakala Mountain. A fully stocked in-villa laundry is a wonderful convenience.

This was the perfect rental property for our multigenerational family visit (14 -74 years). I have never stayed at a property that was so clean and well equipped. The property managers and concierge (Paige) were beyond responsive and helpful. The staff on property at the pool and beach were nice, helpful and always cleaning. Chairs, sunscreen, water and towels provided poolside - perfect. There is a game room with pool and ping pong that is fun. The views from the unit were stunning. We would definitely go back! Only caution I would say is the walk to the beach is decent and involves stairs. For us it was great, but if traveling with anyone who may struggle its something to look at. We loved the beachside path and quick access to restaurants and bars. The Shops are also 200 yards away with high-end shopping, grocery and restaurants. No bar or restaurant on property works with all this adjacent access and keeps the property quiet. It was the prefect pretty, clean, sleepy resort for our family. FULL RECOMMEND.

So far we have rented homes in Laguna Beach, CA, La Jolla, CA and now our second time at Wailea Beach Villas. All were gorgeous, but Mer Et Soleil K408 was beyond what we expected!
As you first walk in, you will notice that the Villa looks exactly like the pictures, and all the furnishings appear brand new. All the bedrooms were as described, and our family of 7 adults were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were gorgeous, and they had everything you would need which included beautiful toiletries. You can tell a lot of thought went into all the little extras.
Mer Et Soleil was also absolutely immaculate! I have never stayed in a home as ultra clean as this Villa, and I am a clean freak. Throughout the entire home everything was pristine.
The location is perfect, just a quick walk down to the beach where the helpful staff are waiting to set out lounge chair and umbrellas. Just down the elevator from the K408, a few steps will take you to the gym and family pool. There is also an infinity adult pool by the beach, where you will be able to take gorgeous sunset pictures.
Just down the elevator and across the street are the Shops at Wailea. What a fun place to shop or eat, with many stores and boutiques from luxury to mainstream. There is also a grocery store which has fresh produce and ready-made meals. The best part of the shops were the Wednesday free concerts. While we were there, we were lucky enough to see HAPA! That was a nice surprise to add to our already perfect vacation.
At the end of our stay, there was a potentially large storm coming to Maui. The staff with Wailea Beach Villa and Tropical Villa Vacation was wonderful alerting us to the potential dangers and giving us instructions in case we should need them. They even brought up to our Villa a case of 2 liter bottles of water. I really appreciated how they gave us personal attention. Luckily the storm went around Maui, and we had beautiful days all week.
Hopefully one day we will be able to stay in this beautiful Villas again!
