We had a wonderful time during our recent visit to Maui. We appreciate Mike and Lorrie sharing their condo with us. It was every easy to communicate with them which made arriving for check-in flawless.
The condo had everything we needed to enjoy numerous days comfortably on the beach. We also had a fully equipped kitchen, but chose to enjoy all the great restaurants close by and avoid cooking :)
The view from the patio is beautiful, we woke up each morning and enjoyed coffee while watching surfers and paddleboarders.
The grounds are kept up so nicely - we met the onsite manager a couple of times and he couldn't have been nicer!
The location is exactly where we wanted to be - across from the beach (and easy access to so many others!). We loved being able to easily walk to restaurants and enjoy a variety of live music.
The hidden gem - is South Maui Gardens - which is literally half a block from the condo. We enjoyed the artisan show, food trucks, and hula show.
Make sure you walk Kalama Beach in the morning - it's a fun stroll and you'll see plenty turtles enjoying their breakfast!

We were super happy with this Kihei condo! It had a view of the beach across the street. It’s around the corner from South Maui Gardens, which was so great (look it up). Nice pool. Quick walk to grocery store. We would stay here again for sure!
My wife and I had an excellent 3-week stay at Lorrie and Mike's place. They were very communicative ahead of and during the trip answering all the questions we had. Check-in/out was a breeze and they provided detailed information ahead of time and on paper within the condo.
Shores of Maui is in a great location with beaches, restaurants, Foodland, etc. all easily in walking distance. They provided a variety of beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, noodles, ice packs) that we made great use of! Their kitchen is well-stocked with spices and sauces in the fridge - I will say that they could use new non-stick pans and a decent cutting board but we had no problem cooking many delicious meals and enjoying them on the lanai.
The grounds, pool area and BBQs are well maintained and welcoming. We also appreciated the availability of a phone (especially as Canadians). We even managed to get to know some of their neighbours a little. Sunsets weren't quite visible from the lanai but a 30-second stroll to the pool fixes that.
Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return in the future. Mahalo Lorrie and Mike for a fabulous stay in your little corner of paradise!
This is a nice property for the price. Everything was as advertised. The owners were very communicative and responded to minor issues immediately. Great view from the lanai. Nice pool and facilities. Walking distance to everything you need.
The listing mentions A/C in the living room. It was quite hot while we were there, even overnight, and the bedroom didn't cool off well. That's the only negative; really could use and A/C in the bedroom. Bed was extremely comfy.

Our family has a blast in the pool and with the ocean being right across the street we took advantage and got on the beach every day!!
This property is a wonderful place to stay and relax. There were many things for us to do. Everything's in walking distance and we really enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool. We would not hesitate to return again. Thank you again Lorrie and Mike for the wonderful accommodation. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Perfect location in Kihei. Walking distance to multiple beaches, restaurants and shops. The unit was well equipped, clean and had an amazing view, pool and BBQ area.
Lorrie and Mike were super hosts, very responsive in all our communications. The condo is a short walk (right across the street) from the beach, and walking distance to fantastic restaurants. We loved spending time at the pool, and using the grills provided for meals when we elected to stay in. There are beach chairs, umbrella, even fishing poles provided! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in Maui.
