Amazing location with perfect views, and great beach right out your front door. Kitchen was well stocked with all that you needed, and great personal touches like fresh pineapple, champagne, and other Hawaii goodies.

We had such a wonderful stay! The property was clean and well updated. The view when you walk in will literally take your breath away. It was the perfect week for our family- the teens loved the pool area and tennis courts. The beach was great and had good snorkeling as well- had two turtles pop over to say hi one afternoon while we were swimming. Peter was so hospitable and made us feel at home. Absolutely stunning views. Looks exactly like the photos. Host was incredible. Everything you need is in the condo at your fingertips. Better than a hotel. I cannot recommend this unit enough will be coming back for sure.

Arrived to our location, the place was immaculate with 180 degree views. Champagne was provided and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the appropriate items such as sauces, salt, pepper, spices,..etc. Very rare and so valuable when arriving on Vaca. Asked for an extra blanket and provided immediately. Great location. Peter was such a great host…thank you!!!
We wanted a place close enough to the beach to hear the waves throughout the condo. We were not disappointed! Nicely furnished with a large lanai. We had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. Couldn't recommend more!

Since we are natives of Los Angeles, we have been to Maui at least 20 times . Makena Surf is our favorite location. The beach is my favorite on the Island. This condo faces a gorgeous expansive view of Makena beach. The condo is beautiful renovated, comfortables, pristine & fully stocked. Peter is a great host! We’ll be back here!

I cannot express how much we loved this condo and already cannot wait to go back!! The interior is upgraded, updated, comfortable (especially the beds and the sofa lounger) and has everything you need for a great vacation. I love that there were plenty of extras for everyone’s use such as condiments, spices, laundry detergent, towels, chairs, beach goodies, bath products, etc. The penthouse balcony is unbelievable. We spent every night watching the stunning sunset and then the beautiful stars from the comfy couches. Was very nice to have our own dedicated grill and the owner was very responsive and proactive in making sure we had everything we needed including a new gas tank super fast! The beach is great, you can’t get any closer! It’s one of the most popular snorkeling spots on the island with tons of turtles (the left side at the end of the rocks). We had to laugh when the snorkeling trip we paid for stopped at that spot, we could have swam home! I honestly don’t know why people stay at hotels when condos like this exist! We will definitely be back!! Mahalo Nui Loa!!
This condo is a beautifully-appointed and decorated 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit with a fantastic view of a very nice semi-private beach in the Makena/Wailea area. The unit was probably better equipped and stocked than any rental unit we have ever stayed in. Multiple coffee makers, a wine fridge, beach cooler and an activity box full of beach and sports equipment were just a sample of the may amenities available and at the ready. There was a fairly private shared pool and hot tub right behind the building, as well as 2 tennis courts. The location of the complex was very convenient to the Wailea area restaurants and also to the Kihei town shopping and restaurants. Peter, our host, was very friendly and accommodating and was easy to contact via text. He provided a guide notebook in the unit with information and critiques of the area activities, restaurants and hotspots. Thanks so much for providing such a wonderful place to stay and enjoy our week in paradise! We hope to come again soon!
This was our second stay at Makena Surf, and our first stay at this unit. It was wonderful - nicely renovated, wonderfully appointed kitchen and the unparalleled views from the third floor of an ocean-front building at this complex. We will be back!
We have come to Maui many times, but this is our first time staying in Wailea. The property was updated, clean & comfortable. The beach was right out front and a refreshing pool right behind. It is suitable for 4 people. One note would be the 3 flights of stairs to some who may have challenges with that. Also, there were 4 remotes to work the main tv. Thats a bit overwhelming! Once we got the hang of all the entry & gate codes, we were set. Close enough to walk to some of the larger resorts and restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Property was immaculate. One of the few properties we have stayed at that claim to be fully stocked and really are. The bar, the kitchen, beach amenities. Apartment was spic and span, super comfortable and well appointed. The property itself is right on the beach, with hot tubs, pools and tennis courts. Apartment has beach chairs, umbrellas, tons of tennis and snorkeling gear, kids games and books, coolers, ice packs, etc.
Super easy to communicate with Peter, our host, but didn’t really have any issues that came up!

The location of this condo is as good as you can get in Maui. We usually stay at the Fairmont but the beach here is much better and quieter. We stayed for a month and would love to have stayed longer. Peter is very responsive and helpful. The unit is well appointed and very clean. The views from the patio are as close to the beach as you can get with remarkable sunsets. I wish I was still there!
